2 Minute Remover Advanced - Liquid Gallon, 2-Pack

I own a fence staining business and we use water based stains. We have always cleaned our brushes with paint stripper until they stopped selling it. It cleaned gunked up dried brushes up well and we could reuse them over and over without throwing them away and having to buy new ones. I literally had buckets full of brushes that need to be cleaned so I thought I’d give this stuff a try. I totally strips all of the water based stains from the brushes like the old cancer causing strippers did. Water based stains are very similar to paints. Of course there are all kinds of paints. Some say this stuff doesn’t work but I suppose it all depends on the type of paint you’re trying to strip. It worked great for our needs and I don’t see why it wouldn’t strip any normal household latex paint. Enamels on metals or super industrial type paints may be a different situation. I give it 5 stars for our purpose!

I recently purchased the Sunnyside Corporation 635G1 2 Minute Remover Advanced Liquid, Gallon, 2 Pack on Amazon, hoping it would work as advertised. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations at all. The product does not live up to what is written! Despite watching numerous videos and reading many positive reviews about how this product easily removes varnish and stain from wood, my experience was completely different. What a waste of time!!!!! I followed the instructions to the letter for my window frames, but it was useless, leaving only a paste that was impossible to remove. This product does not work! ****To add to my disappointment, I received NO response from the manufacturer despite the product appearing to be guaranteed. They never answered my inquiries. I requested a refund and still have not received any news. I remain very disappointed with this product and the lack of support from the manufacturer. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for an effective paint and varnish remover.

This product is not very effective. It takes too many applications to remove some varnish and stain from a table top I want to refinish.

Perfect consistency, very low fumes, took 34 years of paint off of steel truck rims. Casually applied, waited till it was almost dry, casual wire brushing by hand. Vacuum up little crumbles. Repeated 3 times with no sweat, basically with one hand holding a drink. This new formula may not be as aggressive as earlier stuff, but the extra time was worth it. Doesn't attack everything, yet turns paint into little bits that vacuum up. Set rim on bench, brushed on, went off and did other stuff, walk back in, wire barbecue brush and small screwdriver in groove. That's it. Right down to bare steel! 2 rims so far with 3/4 of can left. Used 1 1/2" cheap paintbrush. Stuff even pours nicely with no drips. Will buy again

This product works perfectly as long as you follow the directions. It’s thinner than a lot of paint strippers and works best on flat surfaces. I used it to strip cabinet doors. I soaked rags in the liquid, laid them on the doors, covered with a tarp and it worked amazing. Took off 2 layers of paint and polyurethane!

Works great, after applying cover with wax paper or Kling wrap, it helps.

Title: Absolute Joke – “2 Minute Remover” is a Total Lie If I could give this zero stars, I would. This product is a complete farce. The only thing it removed in two minutes was my hope that it might actually work. I followed the instructions to the letter – prepped the surface, applied a generous amount, and waited. Two minutes passed. Nothing. Five minutes. Still nothing. After thirty minutes, I scraped and all I got was a sticky mess and a bad attitude. Tried again, this time thicker. Still worthless. Tried on paint, varnish, even a light stain – it didn’t so much as bubble. I’ve had better results with warm water and a scrub brush. The name “Advanced Liquid” implies this is some kind of high-tech solution. In reality, it’s just overpriced, underperforming sludge. I bought the 2-pack thinking I was being efficient. Joke’s on me. Now I’ve got two gallons of disappointment taking up space in my shop. Sunnyside should be ashamed to slap their name on this. Don’t waste your money or your time. This product flat-out does not work.

Quick Strip is not very good. I used some of the citrus stuff and had to leave it on for hours. I wanted something quicker so I bought 2 gallons of this stuff and it wouldn't touch the original enamel paint on the door I was redoing. The citrus ate it right up albeit 6 hrs. or so later.
