Have been using this one for a week and im very happy with it. Its sturdy, dishwasher safe, and if you rinse it with tapwater after each use you get the same flavour coffee every use. Previously i used the aluminium Bialetti moka express, and my problem with that was that i could never get quite the same flavour of coffee every time. Occasionally it was right but found it unreliable despite cleaning it with either bicarbonate of soda or now and then using the white vinegar method. I found it high maintenance. This one is much simpler, u don't have to season it, so if it looks dirty, it probably is, so wash it until its sparkly clean, and a good flavour coffee is guaranteed. I overwhelmingly prefer this one to the bialetti, as it produces a consistent result every time. Make sure you wash it before first use with either the dishwasher or washing up liquid and rinse with clean water, and you are good to go. Personally i intend to put it in the dishwasher 1nce every week and just clean water rinse in between. Overall I strongly recommend this one. Its also german made, and it lives up to the reputation of german products being reliable and sturdy. Highly recommended!

This makes stronger and hotter coffee than my French press. I would say it only holds 250ml rather than 300ml as you have to fill to below the valve. It is difficult to screw the two halves together tightly enough so that steam doesn't leak out. The instructions say it should hiss when the water has finished percolating, but so far that has never happened, but at least you can hear that the bubbling has stopped. How can they say that 300ml equates to 6 cups? Perhaps I should have bought a larger percolator.

I usually have just one coffee a day, so I like it to be a good one. I've tried other gadgets over the years but this is by far my favourite so far. I love using it. It's simple to use but also a lovely ritual and, it's easy to clean. Most importantly, the coffee is really smooth and well-rounded - utterly delicious! I thought it was a bit pricey at first but after using it, I'm fine with the price and I'm sure it will last for many years. Just to note: it makes espresso which is strong coffee. Personally, I heat water and milk up separately and in addition, in order to dilute it down.

This moka pot delivers strong, full-bodied coffee that tastes far better than regular drip or instant. It’s exactly the kind of brew you crave first thing in the morning rich, aromatic, and satisfying.

This does make a decent cup of espresso, it does work on our induction hob and it is a nice-looking pot. However the build quality is not brilliant: the lid does not sit firmly on the jug (you can push it down but it springs up a few millimetres); the thread on the boiler is thin steel so care is needed when screwing the jug in place so you don't damage it; there are few sharp edges so care is needed when cleaning. It's an okay moka pot but doesn't really merit the premium price.

Better designed than the Italian version, this one was bought because it works on an induction hob. I also took it camping (photo is 'on site'). It comes to the boil quicker than the aluminium Bialetti and doesn't spill when I pour the coffee. The coffee produced is quite an intense flavour, and in my subjective experience does not have the bitter aftertaste of the other model. This may be due to the quicker boil time. The Bialetti produces some violent splutterings when it's done and I suspect it may be too boiled by then. The Groenenberg is quieter and the taste smoother. You have to be a coffee-fiend to love a moka-made mug and this fits the bill perfectly. It comes with a spare filter and, like all mokas, no matter how many cups it says it'll make, I only ever get a mug from each serving.

L'ho presa per sostituire quella vecchia in alluminio. La uso per fare la mia mega tazza di orzo della colazione. Nella confezione ci sono in tutto due guarnizioni, ma la prima dopo mesi e mesi di utilizzo è ancora in perfetto stato.

prima komt twee kleine bekers koffie uit prima je kan niet lang wachten voor je 2 de beker dan kan het al wat koud zijn . ik kook het elektrich en het warter gedeelte word dan donker blijft niet glanzen hoe dat komt ? ? maar verders prima koffie .. ( is van rvs dus iets zwaarder van gewicht )
