Is this good for deep frying?

I didn't use the pot for frying, I used it to make some Nigerian stew and it burnt and stuck to the pot. I returned it.

This is a large pot. 20cm across the internal base and 25cm across at the top of the pot. It is also 11cm in height. Great for bread, casseroles stews etc.
