Lion Coffee, Original, Medium Roast, Ground, 10 Ounce Bag

I was thrown off by the name "Lion" for a coffee from Hawaii. Always overlooked to seek out oter brands. Until, Prince Waikiki Hotel had Lion coffee in the room. The morning I drank some of the Lion coffee...I was blown away and amazed on the taste and smoothness. I will now continue to order this absolutely amazing coffee again and again.

Bought this in Hawaii and fell in love with it! I can’t find it in stores in my state, so I’m glad Amazon sells it! Definitely worth the price for the taste and quality of this coffee!

I like to go on Amazon occasionally and look up coffee brands I've never had before and give them a try if they're highly rated or have decent value for the price. Came across this. Seen the high ratings and I've never had Hawaiian coffee, so I went in blindly, not knowing what to expect, but people are praising it, so how bad can it be? First pot I made, it was very light. Barely any coffee flavor. Figured maybe I didn't put enough coffee grounds in. The next pot I made later, I added more grounds. It was more bitter, but still lacked a good coffee taste I crave for a regular roasted coffee. I just can't get into it like what I would like. It's not the worst coffee out there. I'll keep making it till it's gone. Don't know if it was a bad batch or something, or because I have no clue what makes Hawaiian coffee, Hawaiian, but I don't know if I'll make another purchase from them again, knowing there's certain good ones out there for the same price, if not cheaper.

A felllow employee introduced me to Lion coffee after he returned from a trip to Hawaii. I thought it was so smooth I had to get more. Outstanding coffee! Thank you, Amazon!
