I bought these before a cross-country road trip. My two dogs are older and they get anxious during long car rides. This didn't fix their anxiousness entirely, but it helped a lot. Once the first bag was gone, I bought it again (and will continue to do so) because it also helps calm them down during thunderstorms. The smell is fine (it's a dog treat -- seems about standard for smell) and the size of the chew is perfect. If you have a very small dog you might need to cut it in half? It's not much bigger than 2-3 pieces of my dog's dry kibble. The duration/longevity seems pretty good; I tried to test it by giving it to them with food, giving them a walk (so it got into their system faster?) and then driving with them. They love the taste and will gobble up the treats. I'd definitely recommend these for your anxious dogs.

We purchased these for our first family vacation with our two dogs. We gave our 30 lb dog 2 and he got drowsy. We gave our 60 lb pit bull 4 and he was just a little bit relaxed. We handed them to them like treats and they ate them with no problem. We were taking the boys in the suv for a 3 hour road trip and the Pit Bull had never been in the car for that long so we were concerned how he would do. They both did great. If I actually needed our Pit to sleep then I would have had to give him at least 2 more because he didn't sleep at all. But relaxed and drowsy were acceptable for the car ride and they did great. Would purchase again but probably give more to the heavier dog then we did.

OVERPRICED treat! This used to be $2.98 less than a year ago! I bought this hoping it would help my pups anxiety throughout the day while I was gone and honestly it did nothing ( I followed the chart on the back). But for less than three dollars, I kept buying them because my pups loved the flavor! So, why not.... then I noticed my “subscribe and save” price started going up... $5... $6...$6.50...$7... and I looked on my account and saw that it was $8.10. Wow!! Not worth it! I know $8 doesn’t seem like a lot, but for little teeny tiny treats, yes it’s too much! I would rather go and buy a different, longer lasting treats for them that might take them a little while to finish, for that same price. In conclusion: Yes my doggos love the flavor. No it doesn’t seem to calm them, if anything it hyped one of my doggos up. No, I don’t think it’s worth it anymore for $8+ Too bad that this company got too greedy. My pups will miss these half bite size snacks.

Excellent calming support for our five-year-old Frenchie! She can be a bit high-energy at times. So, to help calm and relax her during those times, we provide either one chew per day, never exceeding two chews per day. No diarrhea. She loves them! And they work like a charm. For reference, Lulu weighs a trim and healthy 24 pounds. We also have her on The Farmer’s Dog meal plan and provide her with regular exercise.
