your paying for the trademark. they are all poorly made, but that will not matter to much if your a fan. pretty fragile and details are meh. She loved it, that is all that mattered to me. I wouldn't suggest trying to cos-play with it. they chip easy and if you drop it . . . say good buy. paint probably will ware quick too, dono tho.

This was a Christmas gift for a 44 year old and he loved it! It’s perfect. Accurate as well. It’s beautifully packaged too. I’m impressed. Not just for kids. It’s in a beautiful wood box with velvet lining and a very shear material (made it look expensive) covering the wand. The wand itself looks just like in the movies and when removed from the box it was solid and nice quality. I was a bit nervous about the quality due to some bad reviews but took a chance. It’s not wood so don’t expect that it is but it’s very nice. He has it displayed in the box. I read some bad reviews but decided to take my chances and I’m very pleased

I bought this for my 6-year-old son who requested I get him the wand of Harry Potter when I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter one weekend. I bought him the wand he requested at the park and after returning home, I found out the wand didn't make it home with me. I rushed to Amazon to locate the wand and made this purchase and hoped it would be the same as the one I had bought at the theme park. I received this wand within the 2-day Amazon Prime shipping time which was wonderful! When I opened the shipping box and saw the wand box, I was a little nervous. The wand box is different from the wand boxes at the theme park. It is a bit fatter, and, the wizard’s name that the wand belongs to isn't displayed on the outside of the box. I opened the wand box and as with the outside, noticed the inside of the box was different from the theme park wand box. Just like the movie, once the box is opened; there are 2 flaps of shimmering fabric to “open” before you get to the wand. The wand lies in its spot surrounded by a soft “bed” covered with a soft red fabric. This difference from the theme park bought wand is actually quite nice, because the wand’s bought at the theme park are held in place by a hard plastic holding case inside the wand box. The wand itself was the same wand I purchased at the theme park (I know this because I compared this wand to a friend’s son who has the theme park bought Harry Potter wand). The only issue I have with this purchase is that there is nothing on the box or the wand itself to identify as the wand of Harry Potter vs. a different character of the story. Besides that one issue, I am very happy with my purchase. It came in the time promised, it comes with a wand box, the inside of the box is very nice compared to the theme park box, and the wand itself is the same as the wand I purchased (and lost) at the theme park. All in all, I would definitely purchase another wand from here again, so long as I was able to verify from the picture on the shopping page that the wand I was buying is for the character I wanted, as once the wand comes there is nothing to state which character it belongs to.

This was purchased as a Christmas present for a family member that loves Harry Potter! We have bought these in the past through the WB Shop and it’s the same great product and quality! Very happy and perfect for those collectors or fans out there!!

The actual wand is awesome and the packaging inside is fantastic BUT unfortunately the actual wand box came wrapped in packing tape. So once this was peeled off the bottom of the case is torn and the outside is soooo sticky. There also was a giant ugly barcode sticker on top that is impossible to peel off. Since this is a gift I honestly would have returned it but my son’s birthday is tomorrow and he wants this real bad. Unfortunate the outside of the case is a mess because the inside is beautiful.

While not made of wood, this Harry Potter wand is made of some kind of heavy resin, which makes it feel very substantial and sturdy. (I have an older child also, and so we have seen some very cheaply-made HP products in the last two decades). This wand is among the best quality we have found. Indeed, it comes in a fancy box as if you have been waited on by Mr. Olivander himself. The box is high quality, the wand has a soft, squishy place in the box for storage, and it is covered with translucent, opalescent ribbon for unfolding, like a treasured gift. My son is enjoying imaginative play in all ways -- whether shopping for a wand at Olivanders or fighting the Death Eaters at the department of Mysteries. (Wand does not contain real magic; you must use your imagination). REDUCTO!!

Surprised at the quality and attention to detail. It is made better than I thought it would be given it is a movie prop replica. Arrived neatly packaged in box, and definitely worth it as a gift to any Harry Potter fan.

What can I say, what an incredible replica of wands! For the experience you get, they are definitely well priced. Of course expensive, but unless the wands are real, I would much rather have one of this high quality for around £30 than a £15 one which is very low in detail or even the correct size, and feels like pure plastic with no weight to it. These wands are amazing and opens up the door to a huge collection if you want to. Highly durable, incrediblely movie accurate from look to colour. Wouldn't recommend for kids as of the price, and collecting status, as fun as they would find it!

Great wand but the wood part that is supposed to be isnt really good but hey I hope and pray its exact prop as the real thing from the wands on the screen! Thank you😊 ps im happy with it:) Also the wand detail is better then universal studios
