No. Don't listen to any of them. You can't make a character. It's all a lie. My son is trapped in the game and you're making him do all sorts of stupid stuff like killing the vanguard in the tutorial or sipping alcohol.

should I get this, or just get Dark Souls 2?

This game is amazing. I played this all the way through dark souls 3 in one straight, nothing but souls games in 3 months stretch (with bloodbourne as well before 3, that's why you gotta get a PS4 because of the exclusive access to bloodbourne). I say play this, then 1, then 2, then 3. They are all great and you can appreciate the little tweaks in the newer ones if you go through them, but if you go backwards you will miss features you've gotten accustomed to. This one was the most difficult I think, maybe 1 was more so, unless you are a mage because there is an no Regen ring for magic (dark 1, 2, & 3 have a set amount and 3 changes it up a little bit more where you have limited health and magic potions and you decide how many of each you take i.e. 5 risk could be 4 health 1 magic, 5 health no magic, 3 health 2 magic, 5 magic no health, and so on as you discover items that increase the total amount) and you can pretty much keep unlimited health items unlike in the other ones where the healing items are limited and only increase slightly the amount you can carry through the game. Play them all, the order isn't that important but I recommend either going in order or going dark 1, demon, dark 2, dark 3. The warping changes in 2 and then again in 3 were an excellent change from dark 1 and make the lack of warping in dark 1 until the very end a little aggravating if you've already used warping in 2 & 3. The warping doesn't really apply in demon because it is a level based area (1-1, 1-2, 2-1 etc.) unlike the rest which are open worldish 3d metroidvania layouts.

No i dont think so.This has been out for the ps3 for awhile. Dark souls 1 and 2 are also out for the ps3.the ps4 has a new game i think ite called bloodborn.
