Asteroid Pot Holder 2-Pack Set, Black, 6.5"x10"

These KitchenAid pot holders are great quality and exactly what I expected. They’re thick, sturdy, and provide excellent heat protection when taking items out of the oven or off the stove. The size is perfect for everyday use, and they feel comfortable and secure in your hand. I also love the Blue Willow color — simple but really pretty in the kitchen. A reliable, well-made set that I’d definitely buy again.

These are really nice. They are Kitchen Aid brand, so they are nicer than most. I loved all the color choices and, most importantly, they do a good job! I highly recommend!!

I found the quality of these mits to be wonderful. This is the reason for the four stars. I took off one star for specific issues related to me that may not be issues for other. I have fairly large hands so they were a little small for me. They work great for my wife and kids. I also did not like the oval shape. It was difficult to get a good grip at times with this specific shape. Again, this probably had a lot to do with my hand size. My wife and kids have no complaints. I use them like old school oven mits and don't try to insert my hands into the slots. A GREAT selection of colors.

UPDATE - 08/22/2024 Removing the finger stitching from one glove didn't make any difference when using. These pads are good, but use caution when handling really hot pans. I use my cast iron pans in a hot over, 400 to 420 degrees, and find these pads allow heat to penetrate quickly. Use caution if you are cooking at high temps, or get a thicker pad. So far I really like these hot pads. They prevent slipping when handling a heavy, cast iron pan hot from the the oven. I can feel the warmth, but it prevents the heat from reaching my hands. At first I found it awkward to slip my hands inside the glove. I have gotten used to that, and the mitts have gotten more flexible from use. Since they are mitts and my hand is inside, it protects the top of my hand as well. I am not sure the stitched finger divider is needed, so I carefully removed the stitching from one mitt to try it out. If I like it better I will remove the stitching from the other mitt. They are much more heat resistant than my old double terry cloth hot pads. Still evaluating the mitt construction instead of a glove construction with a thumb. I want to try the glove version of this hot pad, but am concerned about the reviews stating the stitching comes loose.

Love them!! Got them for my sister as a gift and just love the hearts on them and that they can be used as oven mitts or a trivet. Good quality and all you have to do to clean is throw in the washer. SO EASY!
