Unreliable at best unfortunately
I work in corrections and the radio is the most important piece of equipment that I carry every day. This mic has been erratic and has always had a lot of feedback no matter how I hold the mic, or my volume level when using the mic. It’s borderline useless especially when at a moment’s notice I need to call a code.

Good products works great clarity is good
Overall good product, quality was terrible. My products insulation has split. Exposing the wiring. Had to actually add electrical tape to cover up that issue. I still give this product a great review. I do understand this may have been 1 in that 1000 made just happened to end up faulty. My co-workers have the same product. And theirs are in great shape.

Don’t buy it
Don’t buy this item. Mine worked as great as the actual brand up until yesterday and it just quit all together while I was at work. It’s already past the 30 days so of course they won’t let me return it. So now I am out $30

Not worth buying
The speaker mic always has static when talking on it and sometimes it does not work,(you can not get out to who you are calling)
