I bought this saw, specifically to reduce a six foot 'closeboard' fence panel. This meant cutting across the wood grain; so naturally I was anxious as to wether or not this saw would be able to do the job. I also then needed to reduce the attached fence-post by the same amount. Goodness me, this saw was superb. It cut across the 9 pieces of wood that made up the panel (and the upright post), with consummate ease. As Straight a line, as any circular saw could manage - but at a tiny fraction of the cost. The upright? Also, so easy. The teeth on this saw are super sharp (so be careful). I would say "Just buy it", because for the price, it is an absolute bargain. Would have paid twice as much and still been happy. No Brainer.

I wanted a replacement to an old Black & Decker 15” saw. Upon extensive research for a suitable replacement I came across the HAUTMEC range with its triple blades. This is fantastic for regular sawing and tree felling through 15cm branches. The action is so smooth without any snagging, plus the handle is extremely comfortable. I was really surprised how rapidly the saw cuts, and the finish produces a lovely fine cut. It’s robust and cleans up perfectly. What an excellent saw - I will definitely invest in some larger ones in future. Highly recommend!

Great size saw for trimming garden shrubs that have got too big for pruning. Very sharp and did the job easily.

Good saw for household DIY. Ideal length, easing the strain on the sawing arm of a seventy three year old! Well designed and cuts efficiently through thick timber. Excellent value for money

This hand saw is exactly what I wanted. Light weight. Excellent grip—-feels really good. Outstanding blade sharpness. I just completed an outdoors tree project effortlessly. 👍👍The cut quality is grand. Its size makes maneuvering easy.

I like the design and sharpness of the saw's teeth. Also, the teeth are in-line with the bottom edge of the handle, which is a desirable feature in this type of handsaw.

Solid hand saw

It's a nice saw. It makes short work of little limb cutting projects around the house. It would probably work well to cut up a body. You could even toss it in a dumpster after you were done and you wouldn't be out much. In all seriousness, it's a good sharp saw. Save the cardboard that it comes in so you can store it without exposing the sharp blade.
