Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp-Ticket

I thought this was a set of mini stamps that would coordinate with the Tim Holtz Ticket Booth set. It's just one stamp that does coordinate with the set, but is so small that separation of the individual tickets would be difficult after stamping, probably not possible to cut the stamp to individuals... hence the loss of a star off the rating. I might use it anyway, after I get over the slight disappointment.

I was disappointed when I received this stamp only because I must not have read the details closely enough. I expected the stamp to be much larger or separate stamps. Instead it's one stamp with teeny tiny tickets all together. It's several inches square.However, Tim Holtz Cling Stamps continue to be made high quality and always stamp a clear image when stamped correctly with the correct ink etc. I the sense of quality, I give it 5 stars. I only took a star away because I do not absolutely love it. You can barely see the actual tickets when stamped. However it would make a great background stamp.

I admit it. Occasionally, I order craft items without carefully checking measurements I need for my specific purpose. That happened. This stamp is a very small collage of tickets.

Great detail. I had assumed that the whole stamp would be bigger, so I could cut out individual tickets, but that's my fault for not double checking the actual stamp size. Still very cool.

I am guilty of not reading the 'fine print' regarding this stamp. I looked at the picture, assumed since it was a Tim Holtz stamp it was one of the large sets and the low price (for Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous) was because it was old and on clearance. I didn't read the reviews, which would have told me the size. I just grabbed it. It is only 3.5 x 2.5. The tickets are one stamp, so as you can imagine, they are very tiny with each 'ticket' being about 1 x .5 inch. This stamp should have cost one-fourth the price. It will work as background noise on mixed media or something similar, but it isn't going to produce tickets for journals or the like.So be wiser than I and read the small print.

These tickets are a really fun way to chronicle an event in your projects. Would be great for cards, scrap booking, reminder notes, possibilities endless. Really fun. Love Tim Holtz.
