Good paper for fountain pens, seems to be coated to prevent soaking in. Takes the ink perfectly without spreading or ghosting to the other side. Paper lies flat when opened, a convenience. Great value for the money, not like some at 2-3 times the cost. Color is slightly warm off-white, just right for me. Highly recommended.

Love these notebooks! They lay flat, the paper is heavy and takes ink well with very little bleed through. I use them with the Le Vent leather notebook covers and it's a great match. I've been through 5 notebooks in the last 2 years and have no intention to look for an alternative. I'm a customer for life.

I bought these for taking psychotherapy notes of sessions and it's really nice that they aren't a full-size notebook which can feel distracting and bulky. These fit in my Travelon purse, which can hold a small tablet so it's very convenient for me to just go to work with the notebook I need without needing a separate bag or carrying it in my arms. The cover is quite durable and soft to touch. I've never cut my hands on it or seen any peeling. What prompted me to buy these was the promise that you could lay it open flat without fighting with it, as I did my previous notebook. While it doesn't have any of the pre-made form like boxes of a notebook meant for psychotherapy, I find that I don't miss that at all. The line sizes/spaces are just like any regular notebook, so I don't have to miniaturize my writing and it has been quite comfortable to write in it while it's on my lap. I'm using a pen that doesn't smear, so I can't speak to that possibility of bleed-through, but the pages don't feel cheap and thin. I have purchased these again and again and hope that Le Vent continues to offer these as I will be a life-long customer.

After trying a few different journal refills, this is my go-to. Thick enough paper that my fountain pen doesn’t leak through (photo to show the pages after writing on both sides), after around six months of frequent use the binding is still holding up great. Nice and sturdy so you don't have to set it on anything to write in it, overall perfect!

Really nice. It will take some time to break in before it opens totally flat. The paper is nice. It's quite thick. Wetter fountain pen inks will do well on it; the paper is quite absorbant. I tested with Emeraude de Chivor with a stub nib and there was no feathering, no bleeding, very minimal ghosting. I hope they always sell these, they are perfect for what I need. I really like the rounded corners, also! (isn't that a weird thing to say? Ha ha)

I really like how the notebook inserts into my refillable leather Le Vent journal. Using my fountain pen in the notebook looks elegant or awesome. I definitely am going to buy more Notebooks for my refillable journal. Great job.

Like anything in life, it's all relative. I appreciate the fact that the pages contain many lines to write on, however I have to write too small for my liking. The book quality, the binding, etc, all excellent. The line spacing is no ones fault, it's all just preference.

Great book to replace our other lined book in a folder. Great spacing.
