Barnana Organic Chewy Banana Bites, Chocolate, 3.5 Ounce, 3 Count I have been looking for some organic products with potassium to use as a healthy alternative snack. These fit the bill perfectly. While a bit pricey, they are very competitive among similar food types and offer good value. Whats not to like? Dark chocolate, potassium, a reasonable amount of sugar and calories per serving (6 large pieces: 16g sugar and 180 calories) and they taste great! I was pleasantly surprised that they filled me up pretty quickly. Most of the time i go beyond normal serving size but in the case of the Banana Bites I was only interested in 1 or 2 to satisfy a craving. This is not a diet food for sure but for those looking to make healthier choices this is a great product. As a side note, i loved the write up about the company and the fact that they are making use of bananas that typically go for waste in other industries. Plus they have a pretty cool banana mobile that i think warrants a song!

Let me start by saying that I love this snack, and to discover this brand made me really happy (I am not being paid to say that, I wouldn’t mind, but that is not the case) anyway, I ordered the banana covered with dark chocolate, and it is a perfect combination of flavors, the sweetness of banana and a hint of bitterness from the dark chocolate blending into a perfect taste. The price was good for the amount of packages and it lasted for quite long, 15 days in a “controlled portion”. It is so delicious that you don’t want stop eating. They arrived in good condition.

Terrible quality, old and completely lacking flavor. I used to buy this at Whole Foods and it was always good, but for some reason it’s changed. Now it doesn’t taste like banana or chocolate at all. Instead, it tastes stale and bitter. Very disappointing.

I adore the plain and the peanut butter cup. They are my not so guilty pleasure. I decided to try these dark chocolate ones. They are more like candy than the other ones. The outside has a crunchy m&m feel and there is a lot less banana to chocolate. That may be a selling feature for others though. I will stick to my favorites. They also added ingredients like maltodextrin. They taste great, but I feel guilty when I eat them.

I was expecting freeze-dried bananas dipped in chocolate. That’s not what this is. The taste was ok, nothing fancy. The size of the package was a bit smaller than I was picturing, but that’s more on me, it was as advertised. The quality of the taste wasn’t bad. It was chocolate and banana, I was just expecting different textures.
