What is the source of this d3? lanolin? fish oil? there is no vegan source of d3 according to the vitamin d council.

Vitamin Code RAW D3 is a raw source of vitamin D3, derived from Lanolin.  that the yeast are "fed" lanolin as their starting material. You have to contact company directly because it only states Vegetarian ... not Vegan. That means they could be sourcing their D3 from lamb's wool. Other sources are from fish oil. The only truly plant-based Vitamin D3 source will be from mushrooms/lichen and will state it.

Are the pills supposed to be green? I have been taking this for years and it was a yellowish white colour and I just got a new bottle and they are green... are they supposed to be green? Did they change the ingredients?

Yes, please rest assured that the product that you have is correct and legitimate.

Existing users may notice a distinct change in the powder color for Vitamin Code RAW D3 Capsules, as we recently switched from a Golden Cracked Wall Chlorella (Auxenochlorella prototheeciodes) to an Organic Green Cracked Wall Chlorella (Organic Chlorella vulgare) in our Vitamin Code RAW D3 formula.

Please be aware that changing from a Golden Chlorella to a Green Chlorella will result in a change in color from tan to green. Product with the Green Chlorella will be noted with a sticker on the top of the carton which states "NOW with Organic Green Cracked-Wall Chlorella."

Again, the powder may be tan or green during this interim period, but rest assured every lot is tested and conforms to our rigid specifications for quality and consistency.
