Not instructional
I bought this book expecting to learn how to run my new Baileigh reciprocating hammer. But this book just like many sheet metal instructional books follows professional panel beaters and their step by step projects with nothing but pictures and a short text explaining the picture. That’s it. At least Ed Bar published his books with explanation and theory. This author just follows other people’s projects.

This is a great book for anyone who wants to learn more about metal shaping and especially if you are considering buying a power-hammer. The author has a talent for opening your eyes to metal shaping ideas that you may not have considered possible. The book has a great line up of talent and real world projects. One of the best books I have read lately on the subject of shaping metal!

なぜか800円で売ってたので知識欲を満たすために買いました。8000円では買わない。 ワンオフの板金（シートメタルシェイピング）はいまだ数値制御が完全応用できず金になるってことで。表紙の黄色い機械のような一千万超えるパワーハンマーを買えるほど儲かる作品を生み出してるのは若い人たちが主です。 日本人が好きな熟練技でなく、パワーハンマーの遣い手は過集中で作業を続けることができる「ゾーンに入る」人たちが多いようで。
