SweetGourmet Halloween Mellowcreme Candy Corn 1 Pound

I had not had Candy Corn in awhile. As our local grocery store carries only the store brand, which is hard, with a off putting taste. Having some experience with candy and jelly making I know the taste is too much paraffin. A friend however, began talking recently about how much they enjoy candy corn. This made me start looking for a good candy corn. I placed an order hoping for the best.The best is exactly what I got with this candy corn. They aren't hard as rocks and they have the honey and vanilla taste that I remember as a little girl. I am really enjoying this candy and would highly recommend it.

Left in our mailbox on a Sunday. Didn't find it until late in the day after seeing it had been delivered and not finding it on our doorstep. The candy literally melted and broke apart when I picked it up due to cooking in mailbox all day. I needed it for a decorative food item and it was useless. Ended up tossing it all. The candy was also disgusting in taste.

Compared to Brach's, this candy is softer and sweeter with a stronger (vanilla) flavor. It's good but got "too sweet" fast - which I like because I don't eat too much in one sitting! .Caution, though- this candy may break easier than others - it had more partial pieces and crumbs than a similar sized bag of Brach's. (Both were shipped from Amazon, but in different boxes, so it's possible that this one was handed more roughly.) The broken pieces weren't so bad that I wouldn't purchase again, though - but I'm pretty tolerate of these types of things.

Last Thanksgiving, we decided we'd bring some cookies decorated to look like turkeys. Candy corns are the beaks. Well, stores were sold out so naturally I get on Amazon and these were the first to pop up and available for quick delivery.I spent almost $10 on a bag of gourmet CANDY CORN. My biggest regret of 2018. Family picked on me. I'm not a posh person. It goes against my nature.They taste fine.

My mother-in-law was craving these the end of Nov. and I couldn't find them anywhere. Took a chance and of course Amazon had some. She absolutly loved this candy corn. Said it was just what she wanted and tasted just like the kind she usually bought but couldn't this year because she was in the hospital from having a stroke. I had to find her some candy corn because once she started feeling better it was the first thing she asked for. Thanks Amazon and Zachary's for making her wish come true.

These are not the traditional candy corn I'm used to. I'm not saying they're bad, I'm just saying the taste and definitely the texture is a bit different. I like candy corn because of the unique blend of sweet with salty. This has that but they are softer in texture and in taste than the Brach's I've eaten for so many years.

Just as I suspected.... DeliciousI don't know why, but I love candy corn of the cob and this was a good pic. Although I did by 2 different bags I think I'll get one more of this kind. Happy Holidays !!!

If you want to bake with this candy corn then great...but if you want them to look good then forget about it. The candy comes completely broken and unusable. Shame on you Sweet Gourmet for providing customers with a bad quality product. Take more pride in what you sale!
