Replaced pump on a Honda engine power washer. Working great. Very easy to install once you get the old pump off.

PERFECT FIT
Perfect fit on my Honda GX270. The installation took about 30 minutes; only because I had to hammer the old one off. Cleaned up the old shaft, lubed and installed the included key, slipped on this new pump and tightened everything down. I ran water through it for about five minutes (just because), cranked the engine and let it run, idle, for about fifteen minutes (just because). I cranked the motor to high and performed a pressure test and it was spot on at 3700 PSI. Tested this new pump with all of my equipment (surface cleaners/wands/ball valves, etc) with no issues. Two hundred feet of hose was used in this test, and to get 3700 PSI is impressive. I'm very happy with this new pump!! I'm back in business!!

Worked until the brass housing split open
Bought this pump replacement for my Dewalt pressure washer. Replacement was simple. Used it very infrequently and for basic homeowner tasks. One day I went to use it to wash off the driveway from mulch and topsoil residue and just after beginning to use it I heard a loud pop sound. Pressure dropped and water was spraying out of the area where the hose connects to the pump. At first I though I blew a hole in the hose but later I realized the brass housing itself split. There is no other explanation than it was a bad casting of the brass. It simply should not do this. So now I’m faced with spending another 319.00 for a replacement. On top of that, because of where the split happened ( right at the hose attachment point) my house is permanent stuck in the fitting. Mind you this hose is literally weeks Old because my old one did blow out from use and sitting in my barn in between uses. So I’m also forced to buy a new hose as well. Just very frustrated and disappointed with this Amazon product.

Works with a 9 HP Honda.
I had an old pressure washer that sit for 10 years with a bad pump. I was able to clean up and revive the 9 HP Honda and picked this pump, knowing it was rated at 800 PSI higher than the OEM pump. The pump works well with plenty pressure. A 0-degree red tip pulls hard on the engine. I reduced the pressure but I would not use this pump with a smaller engine. I wish it has a valve for the chemical injection line, like the OEM pump. This pump is more powerful than any of the pressure washers I have owned in the past.
