It works for my sprained toe
I sprained my toe and couldn't bear to put the slightest weight on that foot. I didn't want to go to a doctor due to the pandemic. I ordered this boot and when it arrived I was finally able to put my foot on the ground again! Besides helping my mobility, the boot also stabilizes and protects my toe (I'm also using an elastic splint for buddy-taping but it is flexible so it doesn't provide a firm base). This keeps my toe from moving the wrong way and protects it from bumps. I used one of the extra pads under my toes and it provided extra cushiony support, cradling my toes. The boot does get a bit hot so I try to take it off and keep my foot up as much as possible. It is very well made and looks like great value for the price. I wear a size 7.5 and ordered a Small, and it fits me perfectly. The velcro closures allow for a customized fit. Excellent to have in the house especially when trying to avoid doctor visits!

Well-constructed for great support and comfort!
I 'rolled' my ankle and fell and my ankle was very swollen and black and blue. I bought a simple ankle brace at Walgreen's but it was uncomfortable and did not prevent ankle movement = pain. I ordered this boot and the swelling had subsided a bit, making it easier to wear. I have small ankles normally so I was afraid that the boot would be too big, but it came with three neoprene inserts which let me get a perfect fit. It's been a month since the injury and I am still wearing the boot. I just had an MRI to see why I am so slow to regain use of the ankle. Turns out their is a hairline fracture and tendon damage. The podiatrist said that my boot appeared to be very well made and I will need to keep using it for awhile. Needless to say, my boot is MUCH less expensive than the one that the podiatrist had available.

Just buy it!
Sprained my big toe and almost ripped my entire nail off because my toe got caught in my long flowy stretchy pants (BE CAREFUL, THOSE PANTS ARE DANGEROUS). I'm fairly young, in my 30s, and if I'd have been older it would have been a much worse situation. I went DOWN and came really close to hitting my head on a table. Couldn't even get off the floor for 20 minutes because of the pain. Just a PSA before my actual review of the boot. This boot is AWESOME. I went from worrying that I had done extensive damage to my foot, to hobbling around almost back to normal for my daily activities (no driving, obviously). No, the boot didn't miraculously heal me, but it sure as heck beats the equipment I got from the hospital in both effectiveness and price (can't wait to see how much the crutches are on my final bill). For around $30 I went from being in pain to having a safe way to protect my toe and keep it healing while I continue to do my job that has me on my feet all day. The comfort of the boot is pretty standard. I do wish they came with a couple more pads, BUT it comes with four and for most people that's probably sufficient. It's definitely enough to do the job. The boot is sturdy, and the straps are easily adjusted. I have what I like to call "athletic" calves (aka they're so fat I can't wear normal boots), and there is PLENTY of room in the calf area, so no worries there! Highly recommend. Can't beat this thing for the price!

Works well, great support
It provides the support I need, but it did not come with the extra little pad/cushion indicated.

Perfect for Broken Toe
This is exactly what i needed to help my broken toe. I broke my toe and couldnt walk without pain, this boot made me mobile again. I am a regular womens 9.5 with wide feet and i got the small, i definitely recommend that if you are between sizes to order the smaller one! It feels way more secure, not too tight at all. Seems very sturdy I have used it to walk around not only my house but my regular city commute as well for the past few days and have seen no signs of damage. The velcro is really sticky so be careful to not get your sock or the foam stuck to it. I will say i am not the biggest fan of the rocking sole (curved outer sole), maybe i am just not used to walking that way or get the purpose of the rocking since i didnt injure my ankle. All in all, 5 stars and I would definitely recommend this walking boot for a toe/foot injury.

Not for broken pinky toe
I broke my pinky toe while moving a heavy piece of exercise equipment. After almost a week of being in pain and it not getting better I did some research. Got this brace and some buddy toe bandages. Been using this for 5 day with the bandages and today is the first day it actually seems my toe is healing. I think toes can take 4-6 weeks to completely heal but this seems to be working. It's also pretty comfortable for a brace. Good quality. Edit: After wearing this for almost 2 weeks my toe doesn't seem to be healing. I feel like the boot isn't helping because it really doesn't hold my toe in snugly and only has a thin foam material covering it. Also, the bottom has hard plastic pieces that the Velcro has to go through. One of them is right over my broken pinky toe and with my buddy wrap bandage and sock on it almost rubs against it. I've had to loosen it a lot over the past 2 weeks otherwise it hurts more when I walk. The boot may be great for some injuries but for a broken pinky toe I don't think it offers the support you need to heal it. I just got an Aircast so hoping that works better.

Better than the Doc
I fractured my 1st metatarsal back in October. Had surgery to reset it. Prior to surgery Urgent care gave me a boot that was a decent fit at the time due to significant swelling. I’m now 5 weeks post surgery with minimal swelling so the original boot is loose, larger and clunky. I inquired about a smaller size with the Doc since I have to stay in the boot for 6 more weeks And I’ve got some plane travel coming up. The doc suggested Amazon since it would cost more for a replacement even with insurance. Ordered the size small and it arrived ahead of schedule just in time for my NYC trip. Buy this boot for any foot stabilizing needs. Perfect fit, less clunky and fraction of cost from doc office. For reference I’m a woman’s size 8 - ordered a size small.

Great boot!
I got a big boot from urgent care that went all the way up my knee for my fractured foot. It was so heavy and too big, my foot was swimming in it. It felt like heaven when I put this on. It was much lighter, shorter, and my foot was secure and not bouncing all over the place in the boot.

This is What You Need If You Break a Foot in Osaka and Your Hospital is in Tokyo
A life-saver from Amazon. You can even survive without crutches and tackle the shinkansen with this. Next day delivery. Absolutely immobilizes the foot so you can slowly get where you need to. Great quality and construction.
