Global Vision Eyewear Hercules Safety Glasses

I love these glasses. I have gone through several pairs because I lose them occasionally (they've never broken). I use them as regular sunglasses, I've traveled around the world with them, I can stuff them in a pocket or in a backpack without worrying about breaking them, I use them as safety glasses when working with machinery that requires them, and I wear them on my motorcycle. They're just all-around great. Oh, and you can't beat the price. The only thing I would prefer is if they made them photochromic--but then the price would go up drastically, I'm sure.UPDATE:I've now been purchasing these glasses for five years. I still love them, but there's three things I don't love:1) They're bulky. I would prefer it if the folded up flatter so I could comfortably put them in a jacket pocket.2) The lenses do scratch fairly easily. They never break, but the lenses do eventually get scratched to the point where they're unusable.3) They're not polarized or photochromic. If these glasses were polarized it would be so much nicer! Ditto for photochromic, but that's a way more expensive expectation.

I like to try on my sunglasses before i buy them but for the price i thought i would give them a try. They look and feel great! The lenses and frame are built very well. I usually end up breaking my sunglasses and getting a new pair once every year or two but these will last for many years!Update 2/3/14Still love the sunglasses! The quality, fit, and look are all great so I bought another pair!

I thought there's no way these can be all they said they would be. But they are. Somewhere on YouTube is a video of a guy running over these with a forklift and then putting them on. They are that durable. Yet the clarity of the lenses are still there. I can't believe my eyes! I bought six pair! They are great.

I bought these a ways back because Global Vision claimed they were almost unbreakable. Before I bought these glasses, I would go through a pair of sunglasses every three to six months because I am hard on my sunglasses and would inevitably break them within three to six months. These shades have lived up to my expectations and then some. I have yet to be able to break them no matter what abuse I put them through. I rated them four stars because although they are durable, the lenses are prone to scratching, and the yellow tint is best suited to lower lighting conditions to increase contrast. You would probably be better off getting a pair in their "smoke" color if you are looking for shades that well, actually shade. Overall a very good pair of sunglasses.

These glasses really are the best glasses that are almost indestructible. For normal use, these glasses will easily last a very very long time. I bought 3 pair of these, 1st on eBay, and then 3 more pair here on amazon (2 for friends). I tested a pair out with running over them with my car (1 eBay pair). Each time the lenses popped out, which were easy to put back in. The frames lasted 6 run-overs until they broke and 1 lens bent in half, but I was able to pop it back into place. The lens got scratched and the one lens that bent in half had a crease in the middle which made viewing through it a little difficult. Had I not lost one lens (it flew into some bushes during a run-over), I could actually still where the glass as the frames were still connected, just broken around the lens area. If you're looking for a strong pair of glasses that could last a lifetime (aside from losing them), then these glasses are a great purchase. For $5 and being almost indestructible, how can that deal be beat.

For the cost, they work for me.They fit my melon well and are comfortable.Better quality then some others I bought at the price point, and some I paid a little more.Will buy again when I need new replacements.

Good shooting glasses if you're on a budget. There is a little distortion around the edges if you are looking through them at an angle, such as some of the more awkward prone positions. The lenses did scratch after several weeks in a selection course, but I didn't expect them to last a lifetime. The scratch is noticeable but did not render the glasses unserviceable.

Quite comfortable!Under a full face lid, some sunnies squash into the sides of my head uncomfortably, but not these.After 18 months these are still my main riding sunglasses. They have some bug+stone scratches from when my visor was up, and a minor rub mark on the inside from my son sitting on my jacket while these were in the pocket, but they are by far the most comfortable sunglasses I've used in 14 years of riding.The arms are soft enough to bend to the gentle pressure of the lid foam, but grippy enough to stay in place if you pull them out a few mm to stop fogging in winter.Unlike other sunglasses I've used on a motorbike, the hinges haven't suffered from the constant inward pressure on the arms, so they can still be used without a helmet.They are obviously somewhat scratch resistant, as they spend their non-sunny days (most of the time in Yorkshire) in a pocket of my bike jacket, without any apparent harm.

j'ai acheté ce produit pour rouler en custom. Il est plutot enveloppant, pour ce qui est de l'incassable ça reste à voir...Par contre ces lunettes sont plutot lourdes et font mal au nez car l'appui est du plastique dur, aucun amorti auniveau du nez.Lunettes tout de meme pas chere et protegent aussi bien que mes "rayban carbon" qui coute bien plus chere, par contre je ne les porte pas au dela de 3h à cause des douleurs occasionnés au niveau de mon nez.En bref, pas déçu pour le prix.
