Great spoon. I've already ordered another one. Great for rice or other items. It's more flat than a scoop if that's helpful to know. I have another version of this Staub spoon and I love that one also. Great products. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my husband. He uses this when cooking eggs and the clean up is a breeze. I was worried that the eggs would be hard to get out of the nubs, but comes right off. It doesn't scratch the cookware. It fits nicely in your hand and is very sturdy.

Bought this to replace the stock plastic rice scoop that comes with the rice cooker. Quality product that feels great in hand and rice doesn't stick to it.

My family and I have gone through probably dozens of rice scoopers over the years. Smooth ones, pebbly ones, self standing ones, cute shaped ones, the ones that come with the rice cooker... this one puts the rest to shame. It has great heft, feels super sturdy, and has a fantastic (and much longer than typical) handle. We liked it so much that I was going to buy a second one in case this one broke, but then realized that it's so well made that it will possibly last longer than I will...

The rice paddle looks and feels great. It is sturdy and the silicone part isn't flimsy. The silicone dots on the spoon are smaller and flatter than the ones that typically come with rice cookers. This makes it more difficult to clean if there is any rice on it. It is also very obvious that there is dried rice since the spoon is black!
