Marine oils are different than conventional motor oils so they are not rated by the same system. Mercury recommends 4-stroke marine oil for their applications. Quicksilver is a highly rated marine oil but it really depends on you application. What brand motor, inboard or outboard? Can you contact the manufacturer or look for an owners manual on their website. Often times the recommended oil is listed.

Why is this so much when its under $8.00 at walmart

(dont) buy from harvard marine ,they are a rip off i buy mine from my local sportsmans warehouse for less then $7 a quart.
