High Torque / Reliable
Update: I have discovered in real world application that the 250RPM motor is stalling despite the production testing success. Not the fault of the motor though. I didn’t calculate the required torque to extended the solar panels. Going to replace it with the 110RPM version or even the 60RPM to get the required torque, albeit at a slower extension/retraction speed. I am surprised that forward/reverse directions have different speeds and torques, although the specs do mention that.Used this on a retractable antenna for my RV among other projects. I love this motor, have used 5 of these. It is high torque, works well in this application. My only complaint: WISH THE SHAFT WAS LONGER. For outdoor use, I place it inside a motor shroud. Problem is there's not much shaft left to protrude for the shaft coupling to grab.Typically I drill a detent hole in the flat part of shaft and mount a set screw in the coupling to grab it. Haven't found a shaft coupling yet specifically for the 8mm D shaft that the motor has.

This thing is a torque monster!
This motor has more torque than I thought a little motor like this could have. I had to drill and tap a hole through the post and my sleeve because just using the flat for a connection between the motor and my valve didn't work when it hit the end of travel. The motor just kept rotating and spun it right on through. Yes, my valve and sleeve were steel...

This motor is powerful. quite and most of all reliable.Great for many projects you might have.

back holes not tapped
I haven't hooked it up yet, because even though there are rear mounting holes, they aren't tapped, so now I wait for a 4mm bottoming tap to be delivered...

Baby torque monster ...Worked for my needs
The media could not be loaded. Okay, considering the small size and 12vdc, this thing is awesome. Building a record cleaning machine and needed enough torque that the platter would still keep going when I apply pressue (cleaning rag and solution) without stopping or slowling down. Cant get any easier than this and a simple 12VDC 5A brick powers it with ZERO issue. Will it open a door or something heavy ? Have no clue but check my video. For a small project, works very well.
