Very bright and keeps the bulb out light off
Plugs into the factory set up. I went for years with a set that were factory for a different car and always had the Bulb out indicator caution light. These are extremely bright, which is awesome when you’re backing up at night time and trying to see where you’re going through your back up camera. Very affordable and good quality, electrical connectors, and wires. The fit is a little difficult to get the clip when you go to clip it into the Bumper holes otherwise looks really good and turns off the bulb out indicator light because it has the load resistors.

2017 VW GTI License plate light.
Worked perfect no errors and super bright. Very easy to install, plug and play and they have a factory look! Great for the price!

Much better then the OEM lights!
Easy install, plug and play, just be careful with the connectors. I saw other people’s ballast solders broke, but as long as you are gentle with the install, there shouldn’t be any issues. 2017 GTI. No errors showed up after installation. Much brighter than the OEM lights.

MK7 GTI LED “no error”
Lights provide great illumination. Vehicle type is a 2016 mk7 GTI. These haven’t thrown any error code “yet” will give it some time but thanks to the resistors provided it should be fine. So long as there isn’t any major heat buildup they won’t burn/damage wires/plastic. Installation was very simple. Recommend holding onto the oem just in case. Once popped/clipped in they are very difficult to remove as stated by others. Recommend small/micro tools. Great value and looks great.

Two problems
Only one of the two lights worked. Also, these lights are difficult to remove, since the little plastic pull tab is too short, so you have to pry them out. Returned.
