Good grip
Makes walking safer on the ice, was a struggle to get them on at first but once on they were no problem.

They certainly work
These work well on ice, frozen turf tec. Invaluable for winter walking in conditions where crampons or micro spikes would be over the top. Even on says when I carry ice axe and crampons I also carry a pair in my sac for use if needed lower down the hill. One slight reservation is that, as others have said, you need a bit of strength to get them on if your boots are at the top end of the size range for the size of the product you have bought. Also after use (especially if used on salted and gritted roads) it is vital to rinse them off with clean water and dry them thoroughly to prevent rusting. I also give mine the occasional squirt of WD40 (on the metal parts only) before storing them after winter is over

Helps make winter weather tolerable
These are great!!!! Little tough to get on but I keep them on an old pair of shoes so always ready to go. May need to go up a size depending on type of shoe/boot you want to put them on. Pair I originally bought for my hubby were to small for his boot so kept them for my boots and got him the next size up and they worked perfectly. They stay in place and we can move about in the bad weather with ease.

Safety. Tops. Don't waste your $$ on anything else.
Bought a smaller set for spouse last yr. She luved them. Before YakTrax, she felt very safe walking on icy sidewalks with dog. Tried her pair on my bigger boots one day & really felt safe. The smaller size stretched to fit size 10, but I figured the Larger size would be worthy investment. For the price, they are excellent. No brain or arm or wrist injuries this winter for certain. Update: right side wiring for the large loop let go today (2 months of waling every day on icy sidewalks) - galvanized wire rusted out even though I rinsed and dried the pair after every time I wore them). Big plus - Super easy to put on & take off (mere seconds, like 5 or 10 seconds per boot). Secind complaint is the claim of stainless steel. The inside of the rivets and wiring are galvanized steel (not stainless) and both started showing signs of rust shortly after first qeek of use. They will rust. Mine roje after (2 monthx) 75-80 km of dog walking.

Get a grip, dont slip, save a hip!
Exactly as described "Dimond Grippers" they are not huge nubs, but enough for typical grip protection to keep you from slipping and falling. If you do serious hiking and need BIG grip these aren't "big". All it takes is that one spot of Black Ice to get you so, I purchased these grippers. I've had these Diamond Grippers a couple years- during winters and use them for typical walking on a sloped road and icy -driveway and they have worked well. After some usage the cable that holds them together can break or the nubs will wear down, so I've gone through a couple pairs of these, but no regrets. Actually there are a LOT of similar Nub grippers like this on the market to choose from. Id rather be safe on cold freezing icy times than take that hit from a fall.. Stay safe... dont unexpectedly slip...its not worth it.
