Nice gate latch
Simple bare bones review: This was easy to install and it works great.

Very easy to operate - even a child could open it.......
This is very easy to operate. I needed it for the chain link fence gates around my yard because my dog can flip the original latches up and get loose. He has not been able to budge this latch. We just have to push down gently on the top of the handle, and the gate opens right up. The only thing, in my opinion, that would keep a child from operating it though is the height, but if a child was able to climb on something and get access to the top, they could easily open it. I would recommend taking assessments of the surrounding areas before deciding whether this would work for keeping a child out. We have had installed for few months now and it gets used multiples times a day. It has held up well. It was a little pricey, but overall, I am happy with it. I will be buying more for the other gates my dog has access to.

Works great. Easy to install.
Worked great on my parents old pool gate fence to keep my toddler out. I like that it automatically locks when the gate is closed and from either direction. Very easy to install with basic screwdriver and wrench.

Fit nicly & was easy to install
Rplaced latches at a preschool that had failed due to age. Fairly easy to install. Only complaint is that it has a lot of plstic components that look like they may not hold up in the sun.

Easy and efficient
Install was easy. It’s not sophisticated or high tech but it gets the job done. Prevents my child from getting into the pool! It’s a good price for a latch and works great.

Not very heavy duty, updated last a long time.
Update 14 months later of using 10 times a day working like new much better made then I thought. Original review: If you’re going to use this for light duty, use works good opens good closes good it may last we’ll see. I’ll update if it breaks. Update works well but after a month of use, it has turned on the post and out of line. I realigned it and put a self tapping screw into metal gate pipe to keep it from turning again. We’ll see how that works. Not a big issue. One month and screw fixed the turning on gate, no other problems would buy again, a keeper.
