Down to Earth: Laid-back Interiors for Modern Living

I just love this book ! I don’t think I have ever come across a book such as this where I actually like all the ideas & could happily live with any of them. That being said, if you don’t like the casual laid back style you will probably not like it ! For me, it is a book to return to again & again.

A cleverly structured book. Well illustrated and the clever bit is how the design text accompanied the photos. Together making things digestible and instructive. Poor packaging.

Lots of great reviews for this book but the title is misleading I thought. It’s a very lavish, beautiful book. With gorgeous rooms that are massive and beautifully dressed - but not down to earth at all. I returned the book.

this book has not been formatted correctly for kindle. the double page spreads don’t display correctly and the font can’t be adjusted at all

Made a wonderful gift for a friend! Could not get over the stunning layout of the book itself.

I bought a few books as coffee table books from Amazon. The books are great. Lovely to read and photos are nicely done. The problem is the packaging really needs to improve cos there’s a reason People buy books in a digital age. It’s for the aesthetics of a book. Amazon doesn’t pack them properly that both of the books delivered have tears / crushed spine as on the video. It’s a shame that I won’t be buying them online anymore. Will just read reviews here and visit the bookstore to buy
