Old Skool GameCube/Wii Compatible Controller - Black

I absolutely love the color! It’s definitely lighter than the OEM the controller but still feels great in hand. Cord length is standard. So far no buttons sticking, joysticks are good, and no lagging! Works just like original controller. Had a little sticker on the back that was a bit difficult to remove but I was able to get all the adhesive off with some determination. Will update if there are any issues so far so good!

Works well, I took for granted how short the cord is after years of wireless everything. But it works well, no complaints.

This is really a solid controller if you want to have a spare or two when friends visit. It does not feel like a genuine controller, but the sticks are good enough and don't feel bad at all. The sticks themselves are actually pretty good all things considered. Buttons feel fine, not great and not terrible. You can play Smash comfortably.

Cant wait to buy more of these ! I love the remotes, they’re just like old game cube ones and they work on the Wii with my game cube game :) but they only work in the game, not on the Wii home page. I can’t wait to get more colors !

I am an avid smash player. I decided to do some aesthetic work on my orange spice GC controller because it had some cosmetic damages from years of use. Gave this one a try because it seemed like a good fit and all I needed was the case, not the board. Figured 10 bucks would be a great value. First impressions: the controller has a large "old skool" icon on the middle above the start button, unlike the picture of product which shows it as having no icon at all. It was not glossy, but more matte. The color is not the same hue as the Nintendo GC controller "orange spice". The plastic also feels light and cheap. Felt as if it could break from a couple of drops. The buttons are mushy and the triggers are unremarkable. Since I was just looking to use it for cosmetic purposes, I figured it might still work if I put in some elbow grease. I opened it up and noticed a few things. It is not the same circuit board as the original GC controller, which is to be expected. The board is smaller and the vibrating component is smaller. However, the main issue is that the case is smaller than the original controllers. Meaning that if you chose this controller case to replace your old case with this product but keep the old board, the GC circuit board will not fit in the case! In the end, this product was not worth the time and money. I say this in the mindset of a Smash player. If you are looking to play mario kart with friends, then fine. Hope this review was helpful.

Controller works, but after the fourth day of having it, the controller already started getting really really bad stick drift. So I wouldn’t recommend this over an official game cube controller, but it does the job for a time. I won’t be buying another one though. I’ll be getting a wireless one.

I Bought 3 Controllers, 1 Black & 2 Orange. All three Work Beautifully and feel Great in the hands. My only Complaint is the L & R Triggers do not have the Crisp Click... With that being The Z Trigger has a Flawless Click... Iol Gammer problems right

Great controller, buttons a tad stiff, but otherwise it's a serviceable game cube controller. However, it got stick drift after using it for the first time. Played Smash Bros. Melee for around an hour and a half and already noticed it was drifting. Tested again in Mario Kart and the car no longer drives straight. Garbage. Buy a used OEM controller from eBay.

The controller feels good and works just fine. Buttons don't press exactly like Nintendo brand but it's good enough. Unfortunately, the main joystick is starting to drift to the right. It can often be fixed by restarting but it's becoming more common and I haven't even finished my game of Wind Waker yet.
