I eat a No Cow protein bar every morning because there is nothing like them in terms of nutrition. I am so happy to have found them. I love all the flavors, but these are so incredibly delicious! They actually taste like a cookie, but contain almost no sugar. They're high in protein and fiber, low in net carbs, and basically everything you would want in a protein bar. Plus, they're plant-based and gluten-free! They're also a great texture. These protein bars are so worth every penny and make you feel so happy. Thanks No Cow for an incredible product. I used to love these, and I have ordered them many times before, but I hadn't ordered them in awhile. When I had them before, they actually had chocolate chips in them. The bar was lighter in color and reasonably tasted like cookie dougjh. There are no chocolate chips in any of these bars. It's just a uniform darker brown color, and besides no chocolate chips, it doesn't particularly taste anything like cookie dough. I don't know if these were an off-batch, or if this is what they mean by "NEW" or "UPGRADED"! Zero chocolate chips is most definitely not an upgrade. I broke one apart into pieces so you can see the lack of chocolate chips. I've opened more than one bar in the box, so it wasn't just a fluke with one bar. They're all the same.

Pros: I like is that this high protein product is plant based, stays intact in adverse weather conditions (heat) and has a decent not overly sweet taste (low sugar). I find it a good fall back ration on hikes or long trips when I may be far from getting whole foods. Cons: I’m not a huge fan of sugar alcohol sweeteners as they can sometime cause G.I. disturbance. Hasn’t happened to me while eating these bars tho. I do find that the bars are best accompanied by a beverage while eating them. I do appreciate the fact that these bars keep well, have a short and understandable ingredient list, are highly portable, and make for a good ration back up.

No cow is one of the best vegan protein bars I’ve found. The cookie dough flavor is great. They recently changed the formula. It tastes even better. Before it had a stronger molasses flavor, but it’s more subtle now. The chocolate brownie is another good flavor. They bars are not hard or chalky. They have a soft, chewy consistency. Highlights: high protein content, low saturated fat, no cholesterol, no added sugar (but it has sugar alcohols), great flavor, sodium only 9% (not bad comparatively). Caution: The other flavors can be hit or miss.

Great Vegan Choice. Protein and good taste. Says "no cow" and I didn't find a single cow in any of the packages! Ha! All in all, a great way to get supplemental protein to augment a healthy diet. Peace. D.

I used to love these bars I would eat one almost every day, but since they changed the recipe to create the "New Great Taste" the texture is way too chewy and the flavor is ruined. I suggest returning back to the old recipe it was a much better texture and flavor <3

Delicious snack food or meal substitute. Absolutely worth the price and chocolate content is perfection. The texture is wonderful and the taste is awesome.
