Overall, excellent product, but with a few areas that could have improvement
5 stars because it really is a great product and does what it's supposed to very well. Firstly, the LED lights are plenty bright, but not blinding. They do nicely to cut. The size of the mirror is ample, but could use another inch or two to make the experience a bit better. If they offered an "XL" version that was just a little taller / wider, I'd spring for a few extra bucks to get it. The door hanger mounting is a great, convenient idea and mostly very well executed. When I'm not working on my fade, I simply leave mine over the bathroom door, fold the mirrors up and place it on a nearby shelf. However, it would have been nice to have more flexibility in the placement onto the hook arms somehow so that it would better match my height. I'm 6' even and I seem to straddle an awkward line between two of the positions. I'm sure that it would sit differently on a different door. PS: it also does a great job at offering me different angles when I am trimming my beard. I can look sharp 24/7/365, don't have to make appointments or pay $50 a trip. Love it.

4+ years use. A+
The unit is expensive considering you could probably make something similar, but it is quality and has held up very well over the past almost 5 years now.I use it about twice a month and it still works as good as it did on day one. In an age where most things are disposable, this one has weathered very well. The lights on it are bright, the mirrors are clear, the power cord is long enough for you to use in the shower from across the bathroom.I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to cut their own hair. There is definitely a learning curve if you haven't worked in mirrors before but you'll get the hang of it.

Updated: Donโt pay more for lights that will break.
I bought this a year ago when I lived into a new place that didnโt have vanity mirrors on the medicine cabinet that allowed me to cut my own hair which Iโve been doing for years. The bathroom at my new place doesnโt have the best lighting so I purchased this with the heaven lights figuring it seemed like great quality so my money would stretch a few years. The mirrors are decent. The metal hangers are a bit cumbersome and not easily adjusted. I noted from the start that the led lights seemed like an after thought. Cheap led strips like my kid has in her room just glued onto the top of the mirror frame. It looks like something you could do yourself at home cheaply but pay a premium for on this product. It was also a little annoying to have to always plug it in to turn the lights on. Fast forward exactly one year and the lights no longer work. The attached photo is the mirror plugged in. Notice the lack of any light? Yeah me too. So a premium was paid for cheap lights tacked into a mirror so they can charge you a premium. Iโll attempt to rip these off and get some led strips and glue them back on myself. Glad I paid so much to have to do this myself a year later.I advise you donโt waste money paying for the โheaven lightsโ. Which leaves just the mirror itself. Seems like a good mirror. Is it better than less expensive models available here in Amazon. Probably not. But the mirrors themselves are decent. Was really hoping this would last and very disappointed that it ended up being a premium price for a cheap product that ultimately stopped working.Update: I reached out to the company. Customer service advised that there was a 1 year warranty I was unaware of. I was roughly a week past that date. Regardless, after providing a screenshot of the Amazon receipt, I got a notice that the company shipped something out to me. I assumed it was just perhaps new led strips but they actually shipped out an entirely new mirror. While I clearly have my issues with how the led strips are used on this mirror, I was very impressed by the resolution of my issue without much fuss. They stood behind their product and quickly remedied my issue. Thatโs A+ service in my book that is to be commended. As a result I have increased the rating on this product. As a side note, it turns out that the issue with the lights was actually the power supply. Iโve never come across such an issue before but apparently the plug they provided is what failed, not the led itself. Not sure is you can purchase just the power supply but if youโre out of warranty and your lights fail, try getting a new plug.

5 STARS, but, just a heads up, you're gonna wish you got the one with the lights.
Well made, great tool, spoiled me at first use! I would hate to go back to holding a mirror...while standing in front of another mirror. It's a luxury item that I suggest buying if you can afford it, BUT you may as well get the one with the lights. I've been cutting my hair for 30 years, YES, 30!!! Always used a fixed mirror and another handheld. Decided to treat myself to this one, wasn't sure what to expect, decided to play it safe and go with the one without the lights, after a few cuts, wish I bought the one with the lights hahahaha!!! It works great! No complaints, less twisting, freeing up the opposite hand is more welcomed than you will realize, I can get closer, EVEN gives me MORE options on where I want to cut my hair, because if there's a door or ledge, it's on! The importance is that you can get closer and see better detail. That's where slight, unfamiliar shadows will come in to play and THAT'S when you'll wish you got the one with the lights. You can get around the shadows, or move back a little, but you'll be like me saying, "Should have just went ahead and got the lights".ALSO!! DON'T waste money on the cheaper brands!!! The are not durable and break easily!! Some don't even have real mirrors, they make them with some kind of mirrored plastic or something, that warps and distorts the reflection. This is made with real glass and well made.

I cut my hair every week and to save money, I started to cut my own hair now. I've been doing the "one hand" method. Meaning 1 hand holding onto the mirror and the other holding the clipper.I was skeptical at first due to the reviews regarding how the led wasn't really working and etc. but I decided to go for it because I wasn't willing to do the "one hand" method way anymore.Got it today, open up and installed it.Value for the money: 4 stars because I noticed the left side mirror, lower corner came a bit damage upon building.Easy to install: 5 stars because it wasn't hard to install it. It has the small good enough hooks behind the middle mirror to adjust it's height.Sturdiness: 4 Stars because it wasn't really sturdy if you have to open the door for whatever reason. It feels like as if the mirror might fall every time you have to open the door. It's not really a biggy...just gotta be careful. If you don't trust anyone opening the door if you due decide to leave it hanging, take it off.TBH, I was a bit worried about the LED lights would not work and the mirror is a bit scratch up.Will be back for more review after testing it.

Inadequate packaging, some design flaws, but overall nice product
Mine arrived with one of the mirrors half shattered. The other half of the mirror is still usable. Unfortunately I ordered this for a specific event and I did not have time to return/exchange before my deadline. Needs much thicker, more protective packaging. The design itself works, but there are some flaws. There needs to be switches to turn on/off the LED strips for each mirror individually, as it is very hard to look directly into one of the mirrors with the bright LED strip just above it shining straight into your eyeballs. At the same time, the LED strip on the opposite mirror needs to be turned on bright to see anything back there. As-is, both LED strips must be turned on, or off, together. Individual switches for each mirror would solve this problem. Also, the door hooks need more height options. Lastly, I would eliminate the branding on the outside of the mirrors - it's pointless - nobody wants a giant logo in their bathroom. And the large "PATNET PENDING" text is distracting and unnecessary also. A wall mount option would be nice.

Very good product
Using this tool for already more than 3 years and very happy with the abilities it gives to make a home self cuts. I forgot what is to go to a barber lol..became almost Pro at home with just own tools, and those mirrors assist a lot.

Must-have if you're cutting your own hair
Taught myself how to cut my own hair at the onset of the pandemic and got used to using a combination of mirrors and lamps to make it work. Never got comfortable with the setup I was using but it worked well enough to learn with. Then I buy this thing and it seriously made things easier. I do a fairly simple crewcut and fade on myself and this is perfect for that.My only gripes (minor really): I don't leave this thing up because I know I'm going to knock it off my door and smash it. The hanging mechanism is fine while you're doing a cut but I don't think it's intended to hang permanently. Also, the metal hooks are a bit rough/sharp. I'd probably cut myself if I'm not careful.Otherwise I'd highly recommend this thing if you cut your own hair and need a better mirror/lighting system!

Perfect!
I'll never go to a hair salon anymore. This has made my life so easy! I loved it. Totally recommend it.

Beware if buying it comes with American wall plug for the LED lights
Mirror works good you can effectively see behind where you need to trim. The brackets that clip onto the door doesn't have padding on thee inside so might end up damaging by wear and tear after prolonged use. I personally attached those soft rubber attachments to them that you would use under desk or chair feet.Would have given 5 stars but the fact that it was sent to me from a Australian distributor with an American power plug makes me unhappy. Now I need to purchase a converter.
