I love this vacuum..so easy to assemble..not heavy to move around for me..bad hands...powerful suction...fast picks up...quick. pet hair amazing...have a Pomeranian...I couldn't believe how much came out of rug that you don't see...the hair does not tangle around the roller either...vacuuming is too much for me lately n this is amazing..I love it n recommend this vacuum...it worked better than my heavy expensive machines...

I am really pleased with this purchase! After reading multiple reviews about several vacuum cleaners, was looking for a carpet and wood floor vacuum - and chose this one. This unit is easy to assemble, and instructions are good. First use today - 3 height settings (there are 5). First setting - medium carpet setting works great, even with a bit of baking soda sprinkled - picked up every bit of dirt and the baking soda; best to go at a slow to medium pace - not fast - just regular style picks up more dirt. Second setting - low carpet - with another sprinkling of baking soda (full box in a medium room). This took a bit longer (maybe 5 minutes), but it picked up all dirt and all baking soda - just have to use a slower pace for a thorough cleaning result. Third setting - stairs with carpet - low carpet setting - the detachable handle with upholstery tool attachment - works great and easy to use. With the detachable handle and additional accessories, a hand held vacuum is not needed - this works just as well! Maybe not as convenient as a hand held vacuum, but it works well. Last step - be sure to empty the dust cup - very easy to detach and empty from the bottom. One more plus - super light - easy to carry or tilt back and push on a hard floor. I'll provide additional updates and photos with more use such as a hardwood floor. Overall - very impressed and it looks great, too! I would give this vacuum 6 stars but 5 is completely fair!

Project Farm brought me here. Excellent vacuum for carpet. To test it, I first vacuumed with my trusty Kenmore Canister vac; then with the Eureka and the Eureka got a shocking amount of cat hair and dust that my Kenmore didn't. To be honest, the attachments and hose leave a lot to be desired as the hose is rather stiff and short. But, for the price and performance of the carpet head and suction alone, you can't beat the performance anywhere near the price range. My parents are going to buy one for the same thing and keep the canister vac for dusting. Very easy to use, and empty. The on/off switch being a foot pedal was interesting to find out, but it works great; though not sure if you can turn the carpet brush head off when using the hose with attachments. Excellent cheap vacuum, get the purple one, it's the cheapest option.

To be honest, I bought this same vacuum 5 years ago. It has powerful suction, a long cord, and an easy to empty large bagless container. Recently, the brush stopped spinning and there’s no suction on the bottom, but the motor is still working and there’s great suction using the hand tools. Some handy husband could probably fix it, but I don’t have one of those anymore, so I decided to buy a new one. Vacuum, not husband. So I bought a fancy stick vacuum yesterday and it was such a disappointment. Too many parts to build it, not enough suction on thick carpets, and I can’t remove the part that is supposed to come off so the attachments can be used. I can’t even fit it back in the box to return it. Grrrrrrr. I decided to buy the same Eureka that I bought 5 years ago. It’s a great value for the power it has, it costs much less than a fancy stick, and the powerful suction never disappoints. I have parakeets, and I need a vacuum with strong suction in order to pick up hundreds of seeds, hulls and tiny molting feathers out of thick carpet and on bare floors. This machine delivers the power I expect. It is a little heavy, but that makes it feel so much more powerful than a lightweight stick skimming across thick carpet. And I personally don’t care about paying extra for any other bells and whistles.

Easy to assemble, powerful suction, light weight, easy to maneuver. Super easy to dump the dust cup, just push the tab at the bottom and the trap door swings into action, no more messy emptying. Nice selection of onboard tools. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new vacuum since I will eventually get hard floor surfaces. This fit the need and I recommend it. Only con is I wish the hose was a bit longer.

I have 3 children under the age of 5, a wooly-coated Siberian husky, and two cats. My old vacuum died, I got a really crappy one that I tried to make work, but my house quickly became Grunge City. I bought this one because I didn’t want to spend much more money but needed something better. In one day my house went from nasty and grungy to better than ever. Holy cow. This thing picks up the copious amount of fluffy dog hair embedded in the carpets, the shorter cat hair, the general dirt and crumbs from the kids. Way better than my old one ever did, apparently, because of the amount of stuff it picked up. I am in love.

After 6 days, the brush stopped spinning. Seems to be an issue with the belt. Very disappointed UPDATE: they quickly mailed a new belt at no cost and that fixed the problem. Great customer service!

I'm a contrarian on this vacuum vs the majority of these reviews. I'm disappointed in it even though it came as an Amazon's Choice model. Usually that doesn't steer me wrong, but I got bit this time. My old Bissel ran circles around this Eureka and was much more user friendly for the price. Biggest drawback of this Eureka, the hose doesn't attach to the extension as part of the design, you can't pop up the wand and instantly suck. You have to undo it from the lower portion of the vacuum and attach the hose in a different place. NOT user friendly. And now that I'm using it this way, the lower hose is already losing it's grip and coming off if I'm vacuuming too quickly and the hose falls off the support and starts slinging around. The other thing that's annoying is that you have to reach up into the dirty canister to unscrew the filter, the old Bissel I had, had a rod that went even to the bottom making this much easier. Weight. Average. Quality. Not opinionated either way, could be better, but also aware of the price point, just unpractical design. Cleaning power. OK. I have to go over the low profile carpet multiple times to get the dog fur up out of it. Just unhappy with the purchase if I'm being honest. I'm glad I have a functioning vacuum again after the other one blew up, but I don't see this guy sticking around long term. 11/17/25 Review UPDATE: I absolutely hate this thing. It's less than 4 months old and it is NOT doing the job, I'm already looking at replacing it Very noticeable suction difference and is AWFUL on low-pile carpet (ie, carpet squares). I have to go over the same spots 3 times to pick up on low-pile. Now when I turn it on, it has this gigantic burst of dust that puffs out of it. I'm so p!ssed I spent the money on this thing. I have 4 pets and on a single income budget and I thought this was a frugal find, but the reality is I got burned.

Es muy buena, la compré porque un familiar tenía una de otro modelo y la usaban para aspirar alfombra ya que tenían un husky y este mudaba mucho de pelo, yo la utilizo para aspirar piso ya que tengo dos gatitos y sueltan mucho pelo, su potencia es increíble, porque el polvo,pelos, cartón todo lo aspira increíblemente bien, es fácil de usar y de armar, su potencia es otro nivel, además de que es fácil de limpiar, al tener un filtro lavable, trae otro filtro lo que es bueno ya que en lo que uno se seca usas el otro, su cable de corriente también es largo lo que hace más fácil moverte por los cuartos si necesidad de estar cambiando la conexión. En conclusión es una muy buena aspiradora si lo que buscas es limpiar pelo de mascotas, polvo etc

Es la segunda aspiradora Eureka que compro en Amazon. La primera (Pet Turbo) casi idéntica a la actual, me encantaba pero la regalé a un familiar. Aquella Pet Turbo incluía el Cepillo Adicional para mascotas con el Mecanismo Giratorio impulsado por Succión de Aire, que realmente solo servía para remate final de limpieza. La aspiradora actual es muy parecida, ya que también incorpora lo más importante – el Cepillo Integrado para suelos (power speed) con potente Mecanismo Giratorio impulsado por Accionamiento Eléctrico – que no depende del efecto de succión y es muy eficiente a la hora de limpiar superficies cubiertas de pelos. El Cepillo Integrado es capaz de arrancar los pelos enganchados en tela, y con esto no se enrolla, sino automáticamente se deshace de basura que acumula, mandándola al contenedor. Ningún otro cepillo es igual de eficiente y rendidor. Sin embargo, emplear el cepillo de suelos para aspirar sofás es poco higiénico, por esto para quitar pelusa de superficies sensibles es aconsejable usar el Guante de Goma mojado frotando, haciendo luego el remate con cepillos adicionales. Así mismo, se podría adquirir la segunda aspiradora idéntica para siempre emplear su Cepillo Integrado exclusivamente en superficies sensibles, mientras la primera aspiradora – exclusivamente para suelos. Pero lo más sensato en tal caso, sería prohibir al perro subirse a los sofás. En general, la aspiradora actual es bastante robusta. El diámetro exterior de la punta del tubo-mango es de 39mm, de cepillos – 35mm. Calidad de materiales es excelente, su motor no es ruidoso y la fuerza de succión es adecuada – ni floja, ni tampoco despega los suelos. El cable de corriente es de 7,4m y se recoge manualmente fijándose en unos ganchos de estructura que garantizan la durabilidad de solución. Solo es compatible con 120V. El mantenimiento es sencillo, su filtro reutilizable se puede limpiar tanto sacudiendo con golpecitos sobre superficie sobresalida, como lavando. Es obvio que el mantenimiento se debe realizarse con determinada frecuencia para evitar el sobrecalentamiento. Como sugerencia de mejora, sería apreciable que el fabricante adicionalmente ponga a la venta los tubos telescópicos de extensión (Flexible Telescoping Crevice Tool), cuales permiten el mejor alcance a la hora de usar el tubo-mango por separado, y cuales algunos modelos de aspiradoras Eureka incluyen por defecto (viene en el manual).

Una joya. Recién la usé ayer. Yo tengo gatos en casa y vivo en un lugar donde entra mucho polvo, por eso buscaba una aspiradora potente y ésta tiene gran relación costo-beneficio. Es fácil de lavar, adiós filtros horrendos de tela que todo el polvo y suciedad se les quedaba pegado. Este filtro es lavable y el receptáculo también. Mucho más fácil la limpieza. Espero que la durabilidad sea larga, por lo pronto 10 de 10!

La potencia de succión es muy buena, batallé con otras marcas de aspiradoras para levantar el pelo de mi mascota de los sillones, aunque no se comparaban de precio, podría ser que una del mismo precio sea igual y mejor, pero yo estoy muy contento con la aspiradora, lo único malo es que si es necesaria una extension para la mangerasi quieres usar los otros aditamentos, esperaría que trajera más aditamentos como la extensión ya que las medidas son diferentes a otras marcas más comunes, así que no puedes reutilizar componentes de otras aspiradoras que tengas. de funcionamiento es muy buena, potente y fácil de usar
