I have a Simplicity Regent lawn tractor with the 25 hp B+S professional engine and needed a new pump after leaving it outside under a tarp last winter. When I tried to start it the engine wasn't getting any gas so I changed the filter but it still wasn't getting any so the next step was to change out the pump. The pump came and identical to the existing one. Installing it was easy and the tractor started right up after it was done. 100% satisfied.

Genuine B&S fuel pump
While it came in a different bag than pictured, it was a genuine B&S fuel pump with all correct markings formed into it. Fit like a glove and works. Hope it lasts as long as the original, (about 20 yrs).

Great fuel pump replacement
Excellent fuel pump replacement. I replaced the vacuum hose, too. Change out was quick and fired up and ran great. I have a John Deere E-130, 42 inch cut.

High Quality OEM fuel pump
Perfect fit, high quality. Don't waste or time or money on other off brand pumps. The engine performance out of these pumps are hands down better than non Briggs Pumps.

Works really well. It took me about 10 minutes to replace the original and the engine surging I was seeing stopped.

Honestly, its an OEM replacement part, and performs as such. I swapped a twin briggs (it blew up) for a flathead, and needed a fuel pump as my tank is under the seat. Plumbing this in was no big deal, I tapped into the pulse from the top of the dipstick (drilled a hole, added a 1/8 npt to 1/4 barb fitting). I used a no name pulse pump at first, but it leaked badly after I turned the mower off. Using the B&S pulse pump, no leaks, and the mower works perfectly now. For the extra $10, I definitely recommend the Briggs model over the no name
