Penn Elcom Laptop Security Drawer 450mm (17.72") | Lockable Steel Under-Desk Drawer with Cable Access | Fits Laptops up to 17" | Black

Received in damaged condition . Drawer functioning hampered . Needs better protective packing and proper handling . Probably dropped on its corner

Sturdy and lockable, my son loves it

I've bought and installed 2 of these on my desk. They are very heavy duty, the sliding glides are strong and smooth. Easy to install. I've never used the locks so I can't comment on them but these are excellent drawers that I feel will last a long time

I used this product to move my work laptop under the desk and clear the desk. I hate clutter and wanted a place to store my 15” work laptop and USB C dock. It has convenient cable management entry points to feed cables through. It’s fitted with four included screws, I mounted mine into a thick solid oak work top and it has been flawless. The tray slides in and out easily and I imagine the built in lock could be useful for certain people, i haven’t used it yet but when trying to lock you have to make sure the drawer is fully pressed into position, I’ve found you can usually give it one more push after closing to make it fully shut. The fitting template was useful and accurate. Overall it has been a fantastic addition to my office and has tidied the desk drastically.

Seemingly strong and solid, with smooth, pleasant sliding mechanism. I did not compensate enough for peripherals when I ordered the size. Make sure all your side access cord projections are included when ordering and then, add a bit more. My 13" laptop and peripherals do not fit the 17" version. First, I will try slimmer second monitor and sound connectors before I give up completely ... It does seem the quality is worth the effort and perhaps the extra expense. Oh, and it did not come with a template for mounting. This will be my next hurdle.
