These fit and sealed my blue Greif 55 gal. poly barrel
Purchased these Bung Cap 2" with 3/4" Knock Out Combo 2pc (1 Buttress Thread & 1 NPT Thread) for my closed top blue poly 55 gal. drum. They came with one "fine thread" (NPT) and one "coarse thread" (buttress) bung cap. The brand name on my blue poly 55 gal. drum is "Greif" and it is made by US Plastic Corp. These 2" caps fit on the barrel great! The do not leak and come with new gaskets that seal correctly! They are just as described and seem to be quality replacement caps for my 55 gal. barrel. Being almost $5 apiece seemed a little steep, compared to other caps available on Amazon, but then I only had to buy two and not a large quantity. Few of the options for purchase of bung caps had the option of both thread sizes available with one purchase. So, since they fit and I didn't have to buy a large quantity of one thread size, the price is just "OK" in my opinion! If they were $1-$2 less expensive, it would not hurt my feelings at all though! If they also could be purchased in a quantity of 2 to 3 caps each, in both thread sizes, I would have probably purchased them.

Good replacement for the price. Fits well in our 55 gal drum.

Good Replacement Drum Caps/Plugs.
Works great in my plastic 55 gallon drum. The fine thread cap was very hard to screw in. I thought I had it cross-threaded and removed it a couple of times to verify it wasn't cross-threading. I haven't checked the 3/4 inch threads but will soon. No issues installing the other cap/plug.

Bung Caps Perform As Advertised
They work as advertised and we are happy with them!

Came as described
Caps came as described, quality is decent, fit was good (only one properly threaded, but thats fine as I need one of the holes in our 55gal water barrel to be easily accessed for pumping). Shipping time was also a day earlier than the estimate too, so that was nice. Good bang for your buck if you're looking for a quick solution to losing the original caps to your barrel.
