Is the flavor true peppermint, or does it taste like wintergreen mint (Pepto Bismol)?

I tasted the toothpaste and compared the peppermint to Young Living Peppermint Oil and Doterra Peppermint Oil.  Doterra's is sweeter smelling and tasting than Young Living.  Young Living tastes like mild peppermint and smells pure.  The toothpaste smells like and tastes like Young Living.  It is a very mild peppermint, not over powering.  It is strong enough to over power the tea tree oil in the toothpaste.  My 16 year old daughter HATES Pepto and she uses this toothpaste without any reference to Pepto.  I haven't ever had Pepto so I can't tell you first hand.  My husband described Pepto as cheap candy smelling medicine.  He says the toothpaste does not taste like Pepto. Did anyone else receive tubes that had no foil seal?  Is this normal?

No foil seal but it is in a box that is glued shut and it would be very evident if it had been tampered with as I couldn't open it without tearing the box.
