I’m really happy listening to my Focal Stellia again.
Last December while in the USA I bought a Focal Stellia. Amazing headphones. 3 months later the cable started to malfunction, probably broke next to the connector. I contacted the seller, got the answer that sadly Focal doesn’t provide a replacement one. So I started looking for a different brand on the internet. Found some, but due to the pandemic, I couldn’t get it delivered to Brazil. Then last Sunday I found this Meze on Amazon. And surprisingly it would be delivered. So I bought it and received in less than 3 days. It was expensive because of Brazilian taxes.Well, I’ve been listening to my Stellia for last 4 days straight. It sounds amazing. I cannot say this cable it sounds better than the original one. But if doesn’t, it sounds as good as. And it’s more flexible, which is very good advantage, probably won’t break so easily as the original one did.. It’s very well built.About the sound; trebles, bass, midrange, it all sounds fine to me. I’m really happy, I was so frustrated I couldn’t listen to my Steliia, which is a fantastic headphone. Thanks to Meze I’m back on the game.

Worth every penny
Like my Kimber cables I use for my loudspeakers these headphone cables work on the same principle of disrupting emf often found in cheaper cables. The sound is audibly better, crisper, and more open with braided cabling.I love these headphone cables for my headphones.Again they are worth every penny to extracting the most out of your music and critical listening.

Reduced microphonics compared to stock Focal Stellia cables
I purchased these to replace the stock cables for the Focal Stellia. The stock cable works fine and no issue with the sound. They do have a bit of microphonics. You hear the any bumps against the cable in the headset.I have this cable for 3.5mm SE, 2.5mm Balanced, and 4.4mm balanced (not tried yet). The cables have a good build. They're flexible. I also like the look of them. They do have reduced microphonics. I get microphonics from the headset to the Y-junction. After the Y-junction, nothing. The microphonics I do get is not obtrusive. They need to be hit pretty hard for it to be loud. I also like I can wrap them easier and take up a lot less space in the carrying case for the headphones.Sound-wise, this is way is too subjective. A lot depends on the source material and any amp or DAC. I did not notice any significant difference between the stock Focal cable and 3.5mm when connected directly to my cellphone or the FiiO BTR5. When I used a 2.5mm cable with BTR5, there was a little more clarity and volume compared to the 3.5mm cables, but that's most likely the amp/dac.My only critique really is I have trouble reading the R and L on the cables. The lettering font is white and thin and light silver background. It should have been something with more contrast such as black or thicker font. It does look nice though. For the Stellia, the connections a little short, so I'm grabbing by the jack and cable junction instead of the jack only. Slight concern about creating a short.I think they're a pretty good value for what they are. There are cheaper similar cables from many Chinese brands that you're most likely never heard about. They're a lot cheaper than any boutique cable brands that are out there, never mind if there is silver. I've seen some other brands that are a better value, per se, but they're modular. I look at all those connections as a place for signal degradation and another weak point in the cable.

A great improvement to the Meze 99 Neo and other Meze classics
The cable is pretty short. Seems like about 3.5 feet long. Was a bit too short for my use so I purchased a well-reviewed 1 ft cable extender here on Amazon. I left the music playing for 24 hours in a spare room. Afterward, the cable with the extension made the Meze 99 even more enjoyable, revealing subtle sounds and their placement. Seems like a lot of money for a short cable but well worth it to me. Meze Audio knows how to make music sound right. I should say that I use a 7 band graphic equalizer to tune all of my headphones to my taste. My setup is a home cd player and tube hybrid headphone amp. You can get the Clarion equalizer her at Amazon and a 110 to 12 volt converter for a decent price.

Not worth the price tag
I purchased this original cable to bring out more clarity to the Meze 99 Classic I own. This headphone is known as a pretty dark sounding headphone but with a fun sound. In order to bring the sound to a bit more balanced level I usually EQ out some bass and push the highs quite a lot. With this original cable the sound is clearer but not much. No need any more to EQ the bass and the highs only need EQ'ing a bit now. There are not much more details and this is of course the limitation to the headphone itself. This cable improves the Classic 99 only a bit. However, the quality of the cable is not very good, it works well, but feels flimsy and thin. There are dents in the cable that are not going away any more and it is very likely that this cable will break quite soon, even with care handling. Not worth the money, but more or less does its job.

GREAT Product & GREAT Customer Service
I order a pair of Meze Audio 99 CLASSICS headphones as a Christmas gift for my son. The order process was painless, and the shipment arrived on the exact day provided by Meze Audio at the time of purchase. As a follow-up purchase, my son wanted to upgrade the headphone cables that came with the headphones ... truthfully, there was nothing wrong with the original cables, but since in his eyes the headphones were free, he decided to spend his own money for the upgraded cables.I reached out to Meze Audio to ensure we ordered the correct cables, placed the order and "bang" the cables arrived and sound fantastic. The only negative is that my son now wears his new headphones constantly, and communication is at an all time low ... or it could just be how things are with an 18 year old boy :-)

Un câble de qualité
Un câble de qualité, qui améliore vraiment le rendu. En plus il est super léger ce qui est vraiment un gros plus par rapport au câble d'origine (focal elear). Je le recommande, ça vaut son prix.
