Has anyone peeled these off enamel? Any damage?

I have never used these Flatirons Disc Adhesive Plate Hangers on enamel. I have only used these on my china collector plates. I would try spraying on "Goo Gone" if you have any residue left on the back of your enamel plate. Hope this helps you. I must say that these discs are "the best" I have ever used and I have not had any problems with them.

Will these work on wood plaques?

I want to use to hang silver plate trays - will it damage the silver plate

I tried to use these to hang ceramic plates and only one out of three stuck to the plate - temporarily. It failed 2 days later, the plate fell to the floor and broke. I don't know if it will adhere better to silver but the glue just didn't ever get 'sticky' despite the fact that I followed the directions to the letter.

How much weight can these hold? I have pewter plates I want to hang.

Some of them give weights, for the size of disc. Make sure the back of your plate is flat and get the correct size for your plate.^ I see the 5 inch disc says it will hold 10 pounds. My 2" inch disc holds my 1.5 # plates just fine.
