Hello, im looking to buy this. Does it have fast motion notification? What dont u like about it?

Alarm feature need networks service.
There are two types of AI detect,Human Detect is defauts.
Motion Detect：Active when monitor screen changed.Recommended detect for cars, animals,etc.
Human Detect：Active when human entry surveillance area.Recommended detect for human.
When detection is activated, different color bars are displayed in the playback, and you can also get alarm by phone notification or email.
The main Cifugurations that can be adjusted:
Detection area, Sensitivity.

Does the cameras have to be plugged into the wall outlets?    Looks like 4 cameras and 4 adapters.

Sorry for the convinience. We are not battery or solar powered camera system, camera and nvr reciever all need plug in to power.Charger is included in this product.Wireless means it doesn't have a cable from the camera to the box, but it still requires a power source. 
There are three main advantages compare to 100% Wirelees cameras，
1.24/7 all days recording rather than only motion actived.
2.Don't need to recharge your cameras regularly.
3.Local storage with free phone app to remote view and playback, no monthly fee.
So please don’t put them in inconvenient locations.

Yes. Just use the app to scan the QR codes of those two devices and add them to the cell phone.
Just right-click on the monitor>system setup>netwotk setup>hit the show QR code button. Then you'll find the QR code there.
