No, it must be a sublimation mug . It would wash off an ordinary mug.

how to setup printer for this paper.

Usually on the printer setting where it says different paper type for an example A4. You will have the option to choose what you want. Envelope DL Works for me.

Does this need heat to fix picture

Yes its heat transfer paper for sublimation.

How do you tell which side to print on?

The side to print on us just a little bit smoother and shinier. It can be hard as I can tell but my husband can't!
