Hablar de Color Me Badd y su álbum debut C.M.B. (1991) es hablar de uno de los pilares del New Jack Swing. Estos cuatro chicos de Oklahoma lograron algo que pocos logran: dominar las listas de pop y R&B simultáneamente con un estilo que mezclaba armonías de "boy band" con un toque callejero y seductor. ¿Por qué fue tan importante este disco? El álbum fue un éxito masivo, llegando a ser triple platino. Lo que los hacía especiales era su capacidad para alternar entre baladas románticas intensas y ritmos bailables. Si te gusta la buena música y quieres darte un paseo por los 90s no debe faltar en tu colección.

Was from my generation as a teenager. I only ever in the day, remember, 'I want to sex you up' To me it was a little cheesy, but however, I heard it on the net 6 months ago and it was nostalgic. So I purchased the whole album for 1 pence from zoverstocks and it's a 9.5/10 If I ever did desert Island discs this will be one I would take with me. If you don't own it, get it for 1 pence + p&p £1.26 you won't regret it.

One of the best pop albums of the 90s
One of my favorite albums. I love the songs All 4 Love, I wanna sex you up, I Adore Mi Amor and Thinkin Back. Color Me Badd was one of my favorite groups in the 90s, but future albums like Time and Chance, Awakening and Now and Forever failed to capture the magic of this album.
