These are actually amazing! I was skeptical at first, and didn’t believe they would work as well as the reviews said, but they absolutely do. We bought these for my teenage son’s football cleats. The very first day after using them, he was blown away, crammed the shoe in my face and said they smell new! Normally would have been repulsed by the smell, but they did indeed not stink! We’ll be buying more for my husband’s work boots. Amazing product especially for the money, and it still fits with our more natural lifestyle without any harmful chemicals!

These work to remove tobacco odor from my shoes. Right size for my heels and flats. I used them in my high end luxury uses so they didn’t have foot odor. They were safe for snakeskin and satin shoes.

These little guys are so great! I'm a lady who researches every product, so when we needed a deodorizer for the nursery I immediately researched all kinds of options. I had never heard of this product before but was encouraged to buy it from the reviews. Plus I like the fact that it can last for so long--much more cost efficient. I've had these for a few months now... Pros: -Good size (fit in ubbi diaper pail and trash can) but I feel like they are large enough they are actually doing something -They work! Our nursery had started smelling really bad once baby girl started solids, within 2 days of putting one of these in the diaper pail and one in the trash can, the room already smelled much better. Cons: -I can start noticing a slight stinch about 3 weeks after I put them in the sun instead of a full month. Not a deal breaker, but a little annoying they don't last as long as I thought they would Overall, we kept them and are pleased.

These REALLY work!

I bought these for a family member who didn't want a fragranced or toxic deodorizer, as she is asthmatic. Bamboo charcoal deodorizers seemed to fit the bill, but I wondered if they work. These Mini Moso Bags from Moso Natural are 2.5 x 7 x 1 inches in size –actually one of my bags is 2.75 inches wide, but they are smushable. Each bag contains 50 grams of bamboo charcoal in a liner that is covered with a charcoal grey heathered fabric. Each bag weighs about 2 ounces. Each has a grommet that you could use for hanging or even for attaching a string to make it easy to pull them out of your shoes, should you happen to have very large shoes. I'm not sure what the fabric content of the cover is. Moso calls it linen. If it's linen, it's coated with something; it feels like polyester. Apparently, bamboo charcoal acts as a deodorizer by trapping the big, stinky molecules in its many pores. Bamboo charcoal can have as much as 600 square meters of surface area per gram due to its extreme porousness. Moso recommends reviving the sachets by placing them in direct sunlight once a month. I'm not sure how well this works in the winter, when UV indices are low. Moso claims that the sachets can be reused for up to two years. Ever Bamboo, another big vendor of bamboo charcoal products, says one year. Your experience may vary. You'll know it's time to replace them when they no longer work. Both companies suggest that old pouches be cut open and the charcoal added to soil in your garden, where it will help regulate moisture. My family member is pleased with these. She puts them in her most-worn shoes overnight and they don't smell bad in the morning. The charcoal sachets don't smell bad either. They have no odor. The charcoal has trapped the offending molecules so that they can't escape. She is entirely satisfied with the Moso Bags, which is a surprise. Conveniently, each sachet has a tag in the side seam on which you can write the date that you opened the package –so you will hopefully remember when to take them for a sunbath and when it might be time to replace. It's nice to find an inexpensive, nontoxic product that works. The Moso Bags may not work to everyone's satisfaction, but we are happy here. The theory is sound, so they are definitely worth a try for odor control.

I bought these to cut down on moisture in some small sealed plastic boxes used in marine environments. They did decrease the humidity by a few % but nothing better than some dry paper towels would have done and nowhere near as well as a dedicated moisture wicking product like damp-rid. As far as odor control goes I didn't buy or use them for that purpose but if I had to comment I'd say that they didn't get rid of the plastic/enclosed space smell at all. That doesn't surprise me because for these to work at all there has to be air moving around. These bags are essentially air filters except they come with no means of pushing air through them depending solely on natural air movement through the area or external fans. Negatives aside I'm going to keep using this product instead of returning it. It got 3 stars because it DID decrease the humidity and it technically should work as an odor absorbor, it just doesn't do either of those things particularly well. Of course it also doesn't use power, is reasonably small, and for some uses that's exactly what you need.

I’m a musician and I bought a set of these for keeping in my show shoes while traveling. There was a mild scent to them when I first opened the package, but I love that they just do their job of drying and deodorizing without any annoying fragrances. (I tend to get a headache from even the smallest amount of industrial fragrance, so I would have returned them immediately if they had been perfumed in any way.) They’re so good at absorbing moisture and odors, I can keep my shoe bag in my suitcase with the rest of my show clothes without worrying about any odd smells. I also place them inside my travel/load-in sneakers while performing, and they’re always dry and fresh by the time I’m ready to put them back on for load out. I bought a set for each of my bandmates, and they all use them for their shoes now too!

They don’t dry your shoes overnight whatsoever. But I believe they do help with odor

effective! using for my shoes & gym Bag. I put a pair of these in the shoes I wear most often. They always eliminate any odors in my shoes, even my workout shoes.

Does the job well.

I cannot reccomend these enough. I have always struggled with shoe smell. Gym shoes, clubbing shoes and work shoes. They have worked a treat! Just leaving them over night in the shoes I need the next day and the smell is gone. Ill be buying a pair for every shoe I have! They were a little smaller than I expectee, they look like the fill the whole shoe in the pictures. This doesn't make any difference to how they work was just a bit suprised. Over all amazing!
