These rubber plates are just snug enough not to walk, but loose enough to get on and off easy.

I am SOOO happy with this product! I needed fractional plates for military press and bench press - love being able to go up in 1-2 lb. increments! These are perfect - such high quality with the nice rubber coating! I have been recommending them to everyone. My ONLY suggestion to the seller/manufacturer is to avoid the black color. I am paranoid about leaving my black ones at the gym by accident because they look like the regular gym plates. I've put a piece of bright tape on my black ones to make sure I don't forget to grab them. If you made the 1 lb. in a different color like green, the set would be beyond perfect. Thank you!

The other fractional plates on Amazon are cheaply painted which can easily rub off and expose the plate's metal to rust. These were the only ones I found that are rubber. The rubber material means they are moisture proof, won't rub off paint on your gym equipment, grip nicely when handling, and don't make noise in the gym bag when they rub up against each other. I expect these fractional plates to last decades. What do I use these for? I use these on my progressive barbell exercises when adding 5 pounds (2X2.5 lb plates) is too much. They also fit hex bars and many other bars with olympic sizing. These fractional plates start at 0.5 pounds and increase to 5 pounds in half-pound increments. Brilliant!

As they are made of rubber they are larger than the steel ones from other vendors but the quality is good. Both sides are labeled and the sizes are easy to read. All the weights were within spec: 4.0, 4.0, 8.1, 8.0, 12.1, 12.1, 16.1, 16.1.

These are great. Weighed them on a digital scale, accurate to under 0.1 ounces. Can't ask for better than that. I love that they are not metal, but instead some type of rubber. Keeps my bar collars looking all pretty.

Overall the weights appear to be solid fractional weights with one exception: the shipment included only a single .25lb weight. What am I supposed to do with weights that aren't paired? Simple oversight, but aggrevating nontheless.
