Stealth 8 in 710 CFM

After hooking this up to a carbon filter, this is the best air purifier I've ever use. It removes the most harsh chemicals, i.e. PAINT THINNER and acrylic paint, within about 30 minutes.We have an artist who lives in the house and created an art studio in a small 11x11 bedroom, and previously the smell was terrible. With this thing running, it completely eliminates all chemical smells, and rapidly.Originally, I connected it to this motor: (Black motor in the photo)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071Y5JKTN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1However, it was too inefficient, and produced a lot of heat. And when the fan was turned down, it made a loud hum.So then, I upgraded to THIS motor: (Motor is inside the Duct Silencer)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S27SQL8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Which is the HyperStealth fan with a built in silencer. Its much, MUCH taller now, but so quiet and energy efficient. No noticeable heat output from the fan, and it can be turned down to low speed and is extremely silent. At low, you literally cannot hear it.To make it even quieter than it already was, I added an additional silencer on top:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CTM0L6O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1And now we have an ULTRA QUIET, high CFM, super effective dust/chemical air purifier. Yeah!!Check out the setup in the picture :-DI added a little 45 degree angle vent at the top. Now it looks like a smoke stack... which puffs out purified air. HA!

Unit had some damage. Since it was internal to the unit and no damage on the outside of the unit, it is a quality control issue prior to shipping. Unit seems to run ok. Due to quality control issue, I can only give 3 stars. Did not come with mount expected and seen at website.

Just what I needed, it's soo quiet. Even at max speed it's still quiet. Get this with insulated ducting if you want to be real stealthy.

Less than half the sound level of typical fans. Almost silent at lower settings.

Quiet fan and moves a ton of air..great product!
