I have another collapsible bottle about this size (came from a trade show) and I use it so much I looked for another. This is perfect for carrying on a walk because it can get smaller as you drink the beverage and it stays securely covered while bding jostled in a day bag. I like this much better than some of the other foldable bottles. A definite travel "yes" for ne.

Took this bottle on a trip to Universal Studios in hopes of keeping hydrated. The bottle is especially nice because you can squish it down when not in use. Be sure to wash the bottle thoroughly at least once, maybe even twice before use to get some of the plasticy silicone taste off of the inside, but after cleaning, I didn't notice any unusual tastes when drinking water out of the bottle. I didn't try any other liquids so I can't say whether or not the bottle holds on to any other flavors, but it worked great for water. One very minor quibble, when the bottle is full, it doesn't like to stand up nicely and will usually just fall over. The included clip can help with that though. When full, the sides are very squishy and it's best to use two hands when drinking, otherwise the end will just flop over the end of your hand. This bottle got a lot of use at Universal though, and it kept going strong for me all week. Fun side note, as long as you're only getting ice and water, nearly all of the Coke Freestyle machines in Universal/IoA will let you do just that for free. Some of the coldest and most refreshing water in the parks.

I bought this specifically to use at airports. It’s too heavy to just carry around casually. Once filled with water, it becomes difficult to hold, drink and setting it down on a surface without spilling is a challenge. It definitely takes some getting used to. It is simpler to use other standard options. I wanted to return it, but the return period had expired. The material quality and watertightness are good.

From day one, I followed the directions to clean this bottle. Then following that I added high quality local water to it. About an hour later I got my first taste and it was awfully tainted with a foul flavor. Not sure the claim that this is food safe silicone because even after using a safe dilution of hydrogen peroxide to try to "correct" the corrupted bottle, it still had the same foul taste when it was containing only water. I suggest people drinking flavored drinks are not aware that the bottle imparts some chemicals to whatever you add to this bottle. Flavored drinks will perhaps mask the foul contamination but it sure can't be good for any kids. Food safe silicone is misleading. I found mold growing on the walls of the bottle, within the first week, which was visible with the lime green bottle I bought which lets light through the walls. Anyone letting their kids drink from these bottles is putting there kids at risk. Those rating it great for kids might not be aware of this issue because they bought bottles that don't let you see though and therefore the mold isn't obvious. Buyer beware especially if you are using these for your children. I returned mine. Thank goodness my adult son suggested I only buy one to try it. Initially I was going to purchase several for the family. I don't know what quality controls were in place during manufacturing and storage, prior to delivery, but I'd suggest from my personal experience that something is really wrong with these... in terms of health. Otherwise the concept is great. They are soft and flexible and compress to smaller shape when you have less than a full liquid. I wanted this to work but it severely missed my expectations. I also was unable to remove the mold using a quality bottle brush. Tried everything to make this one work but I gave up once I realized there was mold and a foul taste that never goes away.

While we were going to use it for water on the beach, we ended up using for our pool side drinks and as it got low, we collapsed the bottle, closed the top and continued with activity, and refilled again. Convient, less bulk, bug resistant, and spill proof. However, the downside was it was flimsy and do not maintain the coolness of the beverage. Therefore, whatever was needed to be consumed, needed to be done soon, otherwise enjoy environment temperature. Unique item received many complements. We did fill it before boarding plane also, which was great because we had to stay on the plane extra time and still had beverage with us.

My family takes a cross country road trip every summer. Because I have two kids I am always looking for little hacks I can do to save us a little money and make the car ride easier. I thought it would be these bottles based on the positive reviews. I wanted easy to transport in a cup holder, and easy to transition from trail to a museum, so we could save money on bottled water. These didn't do it. First the smell was impossible to wash out. They have a very strong plastic smell, making the water smell and taste very strongly of plastic. My kids couldn't get past that. Then, there's the fact that when they're fulled extended and full of water they're basically one of those wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men. They're unstable, they're dorky as hell, and they won't stand up on their own. You know what we have found to work the best - a water bottle with a closable spout top that we just empty and refill over and over on our trip. Yes, I know, that's wasteful, but you know what else is wasteful? This horrible bottle that then was headed to the landfill, at least I can believe my plastic water bottle was recycled. This isn't it folks, my recommendation is to either go big and insulated and feel good knowing you also can use it in self defense or go cheap and recyclable.

No matter what I did, the water always had an unpleasant chemical taste, which made the bottles unusable. In the end, I had no choice but to throw all four away while on holiday. A complete waste of money.

Wonderful bottle! It doesn’t leak if you close it properly and doesn’t smell like silicone if you wash it well first use. I poured dish soap and hot water in it and left it for a while before coming back to rinse it and scrub the upper lip part. Just make sure to wash it every day otherwise it can develop a smell in the upper lip part (as literally every single bottle with plastic/silicone lids do)
