This looks great tight to the wall with stored items in place. Nice finish. Great color. Pretty sturdy overall. I do like it. It uses the screw and cam connectors to assemble it and was very easy to put together. Now the negatives. I questioned the design of the shelves and dividers but it all worked out because I used a high-quality wood glue along each seam. This made it very sturdy. Also, of the ten packages with home furnishing products that I received that week, this one was the only one to arrive with damage. The package inspection showed no apparent damage to its surface, but once opened it became apparent that someone had mishandled the package somewhere during its lifetime resulting in numerous pieces having crushed corners on one end. The biggest reason i see fo this was the lack of packaging material at the ends of the boxes. Other undamaged items came with special corner protectors of hard plastic with much thicker styro foam end pieces which protected everything in the box extremely well. Also, the bottom panel was cracked from a forceful blunt blow but still usable since it was against the floor where this would be when put together. Lastly, the backing is just a thin crappy type of cardboard. So, for just a bit more money the 9 cube unit could have been one to rave about. The savings on the lack of packaging are so small it makes no sense to me why the items inside are mot better protected during shipping. I kept it cause it's impossible to return something like that without a giant hassle.

If you're a picky person, this product may not be for you. This product isn't by any means high end but it serves its purpose very well. The product is reasonably priced. The product is well packed. One of the boxes arrived damaged but no damage to the product. The product is easy to assemble if the instructions are followed. It took me about 20 minutes to read the instructions and assemble one unit. The trick in assembling this product is to get all the dowels in all the way and make sure the upper and lower cams are tight before the back is installed. The back of this product may appear flimsy but does an excellent job of keeping the product from racking. The product looks good, each cube is 13.5" high x 13.5" wide x 13.5" deep. There product provides plenty of storage space. Since the product is made of laminated particle board, this product is for interior use only. If you want to make this product super sturdy, add a bit of carpenter's glue to each dowel when assembling. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Like others said, this is particle board--however, the price is GREAT for what it accomplishes. I had horrid wire cube storage in my laundry room and decided to swap it out for these. The look is so much cleaner. I am horrible at assembling things and usually have to wait until my husband agrees to assemble things. I purchased two of these. The first one, I followed the instructions closely and it was like 25 minutes (only because I had distractions!). SUPER easy! The second one I got cocky and winged it--made mistakes and it collapsed and I ended up crushing two of the dowels and also damaging a shelf--this was on me. Had I followed the instructions and the order they use it would not have happened. That said, it wouldn't cost them much to throw in a couple of extra dowels they are delicate--why I lopped a star of for sturdiness. Anyway, so I assembled and put on top of the long wire shelf in my laundry room. The size of these cubes is perfect for storage>. I have detergent in one, towels in another and cleaners in others, small appliances and hurricane lanterns in others (I have 16 cubes altogether from three different units of these). Everything looks neat and organized. I spent under $200 and completely transformed my laundry room! I did the same with a smaller sized unit of theirs for my pantry. I used to have things either stacked on top of each other or in those horrid wire cubes. Now everything looks organized and clean. Planning to do closets next. Again, this is inexpensive particle board so be careful during assembly--but it looks clean and fantastic in the end.

I had several blemishes on the finish. It looked like they painted the blemishes from the factory. I built the first one (I ordered 4) and left it on the covered carport for a couple of weeks. The bottom swelled. The paint came off from the bottom. Theses are not durable for any time left outside even covered and out of the weather. One of them out of the four will not lock properly and is kind of shaky. I installed the back cardboard piece and it firmed it up some but it is not sturdy like the other 3. The size is great. Putting together is not that hard. There are no ikeas local to me and shipping was extremely expensive for that brand so I decided to try these. They do stack good. They are flush when stacked. I do not recommend for outside use even for short amount of time. As in, don't put them together outside and then bring them inside. It will ruin them. The finish is extremely easy to scratch so be mindful of that. Also never let any liquid in contact with them. Such as wry Mop or drinks on top. This is particle board so the wood will swell and separate. As far as size, they are perfect. I have four that will be side by side and 2 on top. I can hide the defective part on the one that was outside under the carport for 2 weeks. I also purchased the expensive box Liner fold outs and they fit perfectly and will also prevent seeing any of the defects. Overall it is a decent product I just wish they were more durable. I purchased the white ones. The two in the picture are the ones that I built inside the house. They were not exposed to outside. There were slight flaws, such as paint touch ups done from the factory. But overall they will serve the intended purpose of creating more storage and helping me to be organized.

All parts were included, labelled and instructions were easy to follow. It took my son roughly a half hour to assemble. Quite sturdy and holds about 75% of my albums. I will be ordering another one. Even though it is a great product, I think it is a bit pricey for the size.

Exactly what I was looking for. They assembled very easy. Took me less than an hour per unit assembling myself with frequent breaks. They are surprisingly sturdy and came with wall anchors. Arrived undamaged with all parts. Very happy with them! As far as how they will hold up, time will tell but I've assembled other particle board units that, by the time assembly was completed on a carpet, looked in rough shape around the edges. These seem to be well made.
