Ready to Roll the Dough
Being critical, I'd say the rolling pin could have had ball bearings and metal where the handle goes in to the roller....but HEY FOLKS.....this is a nicely made, hardwood, convenient size, and great price. It has Ergonomically correct handles and was not an unreasonable price! I think this seller has done a great job for me and I'm sure it could happen for you too! Yes, I'm giving you 5 beautiful stars!!! Now I'm gonna make a pie!

Highly recommended
I'm very satisfied with this beach wood rolling pin. The dimensions are just right for my purposes, and ergonomic handles accommodate my rather large hands. Glad to see they use nylon rings for pin rotation which tend to be more durable and less prone to microplastic emissions. I took one star off because of the finish. The growth rings of the beach wood were rather pronounced and there were apparent tool marks on one side that prevented a completely smooth surface. I took 120 grit sandpaper and about 15 minutes of hand sanding to correct the slight imperfection. Concerned about food grade mineral oil, so used a natural beeswax butcher block paste to treat after sanding.
