Purchased Many Times — My Go-To Dishwasher Tablets
Hello there! I've purchased these Finish Powerball dishwasher tablets from Amazon quite a few times over the years, and they have become my goto dishwasher detergent. After trying several different brands, gels, powders, and other tablets, I keep coming back to these because they consistently give me the best results. When something works this well, there's really no reason to keep experimenting. One thing I really like is that each tablet is individually wrapped. I've used some of the gel like packs before, and they would sometimes stick together, leak, or become a mess if exposed to moisture. These tablets stay separated and easy to handle, which makes loading the dishwasher quick and hassle free. The packaging also makes the product feel higher quality compared to many of the alternatives I've tried. The cleaning performance is where these really stand out. My dishes, glasses, silverware, and cookware come out clean and shiny with very little effort. Even after larger family meals OR when there are tougher food residues left behind, these tablets do an excellent job. I don't find myself having to rewash dishes or run extra cycles, which saves both time and water. Over the years I've learned that modern dishwashers actually work better when you don't completely pre-rinse everything. I usually scrape off the large food pieces and let the dishwasher do the rest. These Finish tablets seem designed for exactly that kind of use. The red Powerball rinse-aid center also helps dishes dry nicely and reduces spotting on glassware. One little trick I've learned is that you don't always need a whole tablet. If I'm running a smaller load with only a few dishes, I sometimes break the tablet in half and use only part of it. It still cleans very well for lighter loads, and it helps make the box last longer. For bigger loads or dirtier dishes, I use the entire tablet. Overall, these tablets offer excellent value and dependable performance. A single box lasts quite a while, and I've had consistently good results every time I've purchased them. If you're looking for a dishwasher detergent that cleans *extremely well*, easy to use, and delivers reliable results load after load, I can comfortably recommend these Finish Powerball tablets.

A Few Tips To Help Make Your Dishwasher & Soap Work Better For You........
I bought these Finish Dishwasher Tabs (8X, All In 1, Fresh Scent) via Subscribe and Save. After the added savings, averaging 11 cents each, makes for an excellent value on the box of 90. I used to work for an appliance retailer where we recommended and often used Finish dish tabs. The best cleaning (but more expensive) are made by Miele and aren't sold in most grocery stores. Finish tabs are the next best thing. The red center is rinse aid which helps dishes dry better (especially necessary and helpful if you have a dishwasher with a stainless steel tub). Each of the layers dissolve at different times during the wash cycles and help get everything clean. If you find your glasses covered with white spots, it's not the detergent's fault (well, not exactly). Newer dishwashers clean better so the trick is that you need to leave some of the sauces on your dishes. Scrape off the hard foods but leave on the ketchup, gravy, etc... Reason being, the soap needs something to do. If you pre-rinse everything (like in the old days when dishwashers didn't clean as well), the soap has nothing to do and you'll end up with soap residue on your glassware and silverware. Stop pre-rinsing for cleaner dishes- really. Another tip, if you're washing a light load that's not super dirty... We cut these tabs in half and they clean just as well. Kitchen shears cut them but usually one half falls apart. I throw the broken pieces into the dishwasher (works just as well) and use the second half next load. We only use full tabs when we have a heavy load that needs more detergent. You can see what works best with your appliance. If your dishwasher was built in the last 20 years or so, all of the above probably applies to you. Some of the more inexpensive models (often in apartments) don't have built-in hot water heaters. You can try running your sink water until hot, just before starting the dishwasher and that'll help it get up to temperature faster and cleaning better. Recommended. Smile. Hope this is helpful!

Finish All in 1-85ct Dishwasher Detergent has been a game-changer for my kitchen cleaning routine. These Powerball Dishwashing Tablets have simplified my life in more ways than one. The first thing that caught my attention was the Fresh Scent - it left my dishes smelling wonderfully clean. Using these Dish Tabs has been a breeze. They dissolve quickly and effectively, leaving no residue on my dishes. The cleaning power of Finish All in 1-85ct is impressive. It effortlessly tackles tough stains and greasy pots and pans. I no longer have to worry about pre-rinsing or re-washing. One of the best features is the convenience. I simply pop a tablet into the dishwasher, and it does all the hard work. This has saved me time and effort, making it a must-have in my kitchen. I've tried other dishwasher detergents in the past, but Finish All in 1-85ct stands out for its performance and reliability. It consistently delivers sparkling clean dishes, load after load. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a hassle-free and effective dishwasher detergent. It has truly made a difference in my daily routine.

Highly impressed,I need to tell someone about it.
At my house we are cursed with terrible hard water, and as a result, all of our glasses and dishes look terrible all of the time. Some of our glasses we have even just had to throw out because they looked so disgusting. So we started doing some research on the best possible dishwasher solutions, and found two different articles, one claiming that citric acid was the best thing for cleaning the dishwasher itself, and another that listed power ball as the best detergent to get rid of streaks and white residue. Awesome. So we first got started by buying Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz) , and used that to rinse through the dishwasher maybe three different times. I opened up the lever at the bottom, and where it was once a bit funky looking, it was now really clean. The next test came from the powerball. We then took all of our glassware and ran it through with the powerball. Wow. Just…wow. It worked really well, and took almost all of the white residue and streaks off of the glasses. I then did it a second time, and it was amazing, all of the glasses looked like new. I actually never write reviews for anything, but I’m so (male- four stars) Powerball Dishwasher Detergent At my house we are cursed with terrible hard water, and as a result, all of our glasses and dishes look terrible all of the time. Also—the citric acid is really good for the disposal too, I gave it a spin there and it got rid of all the black gunk that was in the garbage disposal. Apparently it’s the super cleaner for bathrooms and kitchens, and you can eat it. I haven’t tried that, but I recommend it on the cleaning end.

Hard to believe that it is THIS good!
Our family has a saying "if we wash the dishes really well before putting them in the dishwasher, they'll come out clean". So true. Everything was always rinsed and scrubbed before going in. Then liquid detergent was added and the dishwasher run. I just could not get our ten year-old dishwasher to perform well. I eventually watched YouTube videos and took apart the insides of our dishwasher. I disassembled everything to determine why it wasn't cleaning well. Twice. Put it all back together. Filters were cleaned, arms all moved, checked where the spray was going, checked the inside of the water conduits. Nothing helped, all seemed ok. So, it was time to buy a new dishwasher. I gave up and went shopping. While checking prices, features, and ratings on dishwashers, this thread popped up. I thought "no way". But for this much money, why not try it? It's a lot less money and hassle than buying a new dishwasher. So keep shopping for a dishwasher but throw in an order for this. When the product arrived, I quickly tried it on half of a load of dishes, expecting no good result. Maybe I could use the product with the new dishwasher later, whatever. Opened the dishwasher. Everything was sparkling clean! I think my jaw dropped. Even the "test knives" I'd put in covered with margarine were perfect. Huh?! That had certainly never happened before! Had to be a fluke. I still didn't believe it. So, enforcing a "scrape don't rinse" rule, over the next day or so we loaded up the dishwasher again with VERY dirty dishes. Got several disapproving looks from my wife. Promised to take it all out, rinse/wash everything, and put it back if this didn't work. Plus, it was hard to break our old habit of washing the dishes first so that they'd come out clean. These had dried on foods, cake, eggs, more margarine, etc. Along with her, I'm also thinking that there's no way this will work. I have to admit that this morning I expected the dishes to at least be somewhat dirty when I opened the dishwasher. This was really pushing the limits in a machine that hadn't cleaned well in years. Opened it and - the plates, cups, wine glasses, and utensils were all perfect. In fact, better than they've ever looked (some things are clean that had been stained for years). Coffee stains came out of coffee cups that I would've have to work very hard with a scrubber to remove. I am blown away. If your dishwasher isn't cleaning well, and you use liquid detergent but can't find a physical reason, this might be worth trying. Even as I'm writing this I still can't quite believe it. What a GREAT product!

No nasty scent! Cleans brilliantly!
I recently switched from Cascade platinum to Finish 0% because I have many silicone utensils and microwave covers and all of them started smelling and tasting (as I discovered when I taste tested from a silicone spoon) just like the Cascade Platinum pods. Yuck! I was horrified when I realized it and checked every silicone item in my kitchen and yep, everything had that same nasty scent! I stir delicate sauces and eggs with those utensils and the utensils aren't cheap! Plus if I can smell it and taste it then there was chemical residue leaching into my food! I kept the pods under the sink and everything under there smelled bad too. I actually had a bag of dog treats under there I had to throw out. I don't know if Cascade changed the chemicals they use but I hadn't noticed it being as bad as that before, but I will never go back! I tried a number of different pods, natural and not so natural and many of them just didn't work, admittedly Cascade Platinum did a great (but stinky) job! I found that these Finish 0% were absolutely the best, and cleaned every bit as well as the Cascade Platinum and no nasty scent! Plus after a couple of washes my silicone items don't smell or taste of chemicals anymore. I gave my Cascade pods and rinse aid away. I also switched my rinse aid and will separately review that too. I am extremely pleased with these pods and have been using them for a couple of months now and the performance is great and no nasty smell! If this review has been helpful please click the helpful button and check out my other reviews. I post a lot of cookbook, kitchen equipment and ingredient reviews. I am obsessed with all things kitchen and will buy 8 different lemon zesters just to find the best. You can find those reviews by checking out my lists. Happy cooking and eating because Food is Glorious!

80 not 85 not in a box but in a plastic bag.
These work best in my dishwasher over other brands or types. I've compared performance and price point with other products and these Finish tablets hit the mark. Dishes are clean while stacked relatively close. I don't prewash caked on 1/4" dried on tomato sauce from white ceramic and it cleans just fine. Don't waste your time with the gel/ soft flexible unwrapped pods because you'll just waste money when the get humid. I'm not talking prewashing, (waste of resources and time) loading the dishwasher and grabbing a pod with damp hands either ( can't do that with gel/ soft pods). The bad with this deal was they were advertised as 85 pieces in a pictured box. I received 80 pieces of the correct looking wrapped hard style power ball pod in a plastic bag. There you have 3 stars la Vonnas place! Incorrect product shipped or false advertisement. Take your pick LA Vonnas place. I'll be avoiding your store unless you rectify the issue.

Cracked
After I started using the tablets, I felt that 1 in every 5 tablets were shattered that I have to disposed off instead of using it in my dishwasher.

No plastic gets dissolved in water and cleans well
It cleans well and is comparable to more expensive options available in the market. I like this particular offering from Finish as it doesn’t come in any plastic covering that gets micro particles released into our water systems. We make so much waste that a little conscious effort towards our ecological systems helps me feel better.
