SMOOTHERPRO Solid Brass Bolt Action Pen Square Shape for Tremor Parkinson Arthritic Pocket Business EDC Signature Color Bronze(BR631)

I bought 4 of these and gave 3 of them as gifts and will likely buy more. The one doctor I gifted one to liked his and said "It's a smooth writer" in the thank-you note he sent me. The other doctor didn't give me her opinion yet but I suspect she'll say good things about it as well. The one I kept for myself confirms what the one doctor said as I also find it to be a smooth writer that is so well made that it even has a rubber o-ring between the two main body parts to keep things tightly sealed. One thing I don't think I'd recommend is using it as a "clicker for nerves" as the descriptions says you can do. I say that because I'm just not sure that it's robust enough for much of that (though I could be wrong). If you want a very nice quality all-brass pen that includes an extra cartridge I'd say these pens are an excellent choice and the price is very reasonable (especially since I recently watched a youtube video in which a similar but not as nice pen a fellow was reviewing cost something like $90, I think it was)! Note: IF mine should fall below expectations for some reason, or if folks that I give them to say they're having problems with theirs, I will FOR SURE report back here and give an Update ASAP!

I bought this pen to compliment my steampunk-themed office space. It's PERFECT. The mechanical action on the retracting lever on the side is so satisfying - I can't stop playing with it, LOL! The overall look of the pen is just spot on for the retro-mechanical look I was going for. It's real metal, too - nice and sturdy. The pen writes surprisingly well, as well. Not as slick as some gel pens out there, but definitely above-average as ball-point pens go. I'm very happy with it!

Hefty and fun while also being a good pen. It does dismantle a bit easily if you fiddle with it enough, but not in any permanent way. Keep track of how 'loose' the bolt action knob is getting or you'll easily lose it. Could be fixed with some thread lock if it bothers you (though perhaps they could do that?)

This is a beautiful pen design, very satisfying to hold and click. The weight feels great. It's good for fidgeting. It's unfinished brass, and after a few weeks it's already developing a nice patina, which I was hoping for. This pen seems like it will last for generations. There's a small rubber ring inside that I'm sure will need to be replaced at some point, but I can't see how this pen would ever break with normal use. It might break if you ran over it with a car... but possibly not! It's that sturdy. Oh, and it writes well, but that's a function of the replaceable ink cartridge (or whatever it's called).

Great pen for the price for its type and the action is smooth the ring at the top is a nice addition vs a pocket clip and adds a unique style over all a noticeable rugged item and has a rustic but stylish appeal to me not so much being as practical as a plastic pen. Also the stud that retracts and attracts the pen tip is threaded and does come loose easily so use some thread lock on it or maybe a drop of super glue.

This pen is so cool. Love the metal finish on it. It doesn't roll around and the bolt action is smooth.

I've been using Zebra 701s forever, and figured I'd experiment with a new style... This little guy showed up with a bit of machining grease on him, but bronze doesn't rust, so I took it apart, washed it out, (leaving the inner bolt greased made sense) and started using it. It's a bit heavier than I was ready for, but the tapered grip feels really great in your hands. Plenty of control. Also, I'm not sure what ink they're shipping with, but I really like it. It's perfectly consistent, and can write thin or bold equally well. I wish I knew what brand the cartridges came from... they're much better than the often defective refills I've experimented with.
