This is easily one of my favorite scents from Senselabs. The Santal blend smells warm, smooth, and slightly smoky without becoming overpowering. I definitely pick up the sandalwood, amber, cedar, and vanilla the most, with a soft musky finish that makes the whole scent feel cozy and layered instead of flat. It gives off that clean luxury hotel vibe without smelling overly perfumey. What I like most is that it actually carries through the room well in an ultrasonic diffuser. Some diffuser oils smell great directly from the bottle but disappear once diffused. This one holds up nicely and creates a noticeable scent without feeling heavy or overwhelming. A little also goes a fairly long way, so I do not feel like I need to constantly refill the diffuser. The scent itself feels very unisex to me. It leans woody and warm, but the vanilla and amber soften it enough that it does not come across too sharp or overly masculine. It has a very relaxing atmosphere to it and works especially well for evenings or colder weather. I also appreciate the packaging details. The dark glass bottle feels more protective for fragrance oils compared to clear glass, and the included dropper makes it easier to control the amount being used without making a mess. Overall, this one feels much more balanced and refined compared to some of the other Santal inspired oils I have tried. If you like warm sandalwood scents with a slightly creamy, cozy edge, this is a really nice option.

A little goes a long way! Personally, this wasn't the hotel scent that I had in mind. To me, it does seem a bit woodsy, earthy maybe. My daughters said it smells fancy and clean. I have small diffuser that takes about 4oz of water, and 2 drops is plenty. This bottle will last a long time!

I love how this smells in my diffuser. It definitely does the trick. However, I cannot stand how companies don’t disclose exactly what is it their ingredients. Since being diagnosed with cancer, I am very careful about products, so since this company won’t disclose, I only diffuse this if I have guests coming over now and again.

I recently repurchased this Santal essential oil, and I am just as obsessed about it as I was the first time. Fragrance (4/5): It has this warm and inviting scent that immediately captivates me as soon as I walk into the room. I definitely can smell sandalwood, cedarwood, and hints of leather. I do hear a lot of people say it reminds them of dill pickles, but I only have picked up on that fragrance note once or twice. However, I love vinegar chips all day long, so I might not be the best judge of whether or not that fragrance note is a negative or not. I find this fragrance very balanced in that it is not super artificial, but it also isn’t flat or one-noted. Potency (4/5): This fragrance is definitely potent, which is a good thing in my book. It just took a little while to realize that a little goes a long way. I initially made the mistake of using too much in my diffuser, resulting in an extra luxurious (albeit slightly overpowering) aroma. I've since figured out that just a few drops will be more than sufficient. However, I use it so frequently that I had to repurchase after a couple of months! Value (4/5): This essential oil offers a pretty good value for the money, especially because of the potency. I would usually have a hard time forking over this much money for an essential oil, but since I quickly decided this oil would be my signature home scent, it's a worthwhile regular in my essential oil collection.

I used this Santal for the first time today in a batch of natural deodorant and can't wait to see how my customers react. The first time I opened it, the scent filled my home - just heavenly!!! A little goes a long way. This is high-quality oil. Shipping was super fast too.

Not my type of aroma, The smell gave me a headache. It doesn't smell very good. I'll try ordering other scents from other brands and maybe I'll try mixing them. Maybe something will work out. smells cheap

This is the best smell in the world not even sure if describing it can do it justice. It’s smooth, wood-y, notes of vanilla-ish and spices. Kinda smells like church in the best way. Also everything gives me a headache and this one does not.

Smells divine. Potent, doesn't give me headaches. I tried the small 10ml size first, then splurged on the large one. Love it. There was an issue where I was accidentally overcharged (customs fees) but I contacted the seller and they took care of it right away. Great service. Great produce. Highly recommend.

Quite pricey for the quantity but for the potency and how similar it is to the actual Santal 33, it is a price I am willing to spend. I usually add a drop or two of this in my diffuser either on its own or blended with a few drops of lavender and a couple drops of sandalwood. Very relaxing and makes the whole house smell clean and inviting. Will repurchase for sure (in fact, at the time of this review, I already have purchased another just as a backup….I don’t want to be without it at any time). I tried a brand claiming to be a Santal 33 dupe that was less expensive….big mistake. I Will never use it so I saved nothing. I highly recommend this brand. Best price I’ve found for a great Santal 33 dupe.

An incredibly warm luxurious smell.

Been on a craze for this fragrance but I only have a beer-budget, and I'm so glad I took a plunge on buying this. It's been so balmy in Melbourne and I've been running my diffuser non-stop for the last 48 hours. I also used it on myself as perfume and it lasted a good 7 hours. If you want the iconic Santal 33 but don't want to compromise on spending $$, this is for you. I'm about to order a back-up now ;)
