Yeah, mine were. But I adjusted the gap to the spec. Plus with shipping you never know if the gap gets changed or not. Get yourself a sparkplug gap tool.

Can a AP 104 misfire in two weeks?

I suppose it is possible, if it is defective, but a normal plug should last for years. I recently installed APP 104's in a Taurus Duratec DOHV, and the car developed a mis-fire on Cylinder 3 within a couple of weeks. Then, a few days later, it developed a mis-fire on cylinder one. As it turned out, the problem was not the plugs, but the COP coils. I'm not sure why they both decided to die within a short period of time after I replaced the plugs, unless jostling the COP's in removal and installation somehow damaged the internal electronics. The car was 14years old and had over 200,000 miles at the time.
