Although the parameters of the project changed and these are not to be installed here onsite, it should be noted that these are very heavy duty hinges with very strong spring tension, which is adjustable. Having installed many a door in my life and times I am not readily impressed with hinge quality, though am, with these.

I am finally ready to install a swinging door and pulled these out of storage after buying them months ago. looking at these they seem to not have much quality control to keep everything nice and aligned. the video instructions leave me with no confidence these will work which instead of using an actual door the video shows a strange install using 2 pieces of wood. I am taking my loss and going out to a big box to purchase better door hinges. I can tell these will give me hours of aggrevation based on the quality, prior reviews and probably not last.

The hinge looks great and functions well, it seems to be durable but the screws supplied are of poor quality and several of the heads of the screws twisted off or popped off when applying pressure to the spring. I replaced them with high quality screws and the hinges work well.

We bought these to replace old hinges. We thought they would go on quickly. The hinge did not lay flat on the door jamb and we had to modify the jamb. The paint scratched off as we were installing and the screws broke as we were putting them in. We also had to grind off the flanges on the hinge as the would not lay flat on one another after installation without lifting up on the door. If my husband was not construction savvy these would have been impossible to use. A big mistake on our part.

Not ideal for gate doors. But I made it work. The cost is overpriced. The nuts on the hinges are plastic. So the nuts will bust.

Well made hinges. They work perfectly and are beautiful.

They worked well but the tool for winding the spring is a bit weak if you have a heavy gate door I use the category 8 hinge pin to wind the spring and that worked perfect.

Hinge Package looked like it was dragged behind Truck. Will have to repaint. Amazon packaging prevented losing the Screws. Hinges stick as they 'go by each other'. Hoping this goes away once installed. Luckily I have wood to build the required wall/door jam Spacer. Will attempt to edit this review after installation.
